Bit of a conundrum now if a big Saudi big comes in. Would we deal now based on his recent form? Goals are hard to come by in this league, so stick with what you know or gamble on someone from a different league? Think I’d be inclined to keep Richy on recent form.
If an offer comes in January then I'd say no right now.

Richy is scoring goals plain and simple and no signing we could make now would guarantee similar.

You have to realise that he isn’t ever going to be as clinical as Son, Kane, Bale. However that doesn’t mean he wont net contribute overall. We have just had the pleasure of watching some of the best finishers of all time for the past 10 years
Son missed 2 glorious chances!

Five goals in six matches since his surgery. Not sure if it’s physical or mental or both but he’s looking a lot more like the old Richarlison now.

Likes Erik Lamela, deal with it.

No way should we sell him. He was excellent today. Who could we get to replace him anyway? Strikers are very hard to come by.

He has a real knack for turning clean possession into untidy possession, then scrapping for it and finding a pass to a Spurs shirt. I just wish he could do the last bit without having to go through the first bit...

For me he replaces a lot of what Lamela brought to the team. What I like about him is even when the ball gets away from him he has the appetite to win it back and we end up back in possession. Obviously Kane was a massive player for us but one thing we get out of Richarlison is that he often gets into those out and out striker positions in the box where there's often times Kane would be behind play from the build up. We seem to be working the ball well to him well now. The goal was a bit of what the players drilled in the warm up where they had Lo Celso and Bentancur moving the ball between themselves and Richarlison, then playing wide to Son or Johnson who then get the early cross in. I think they're playing more to his strengths now and getting used to where he is in the box for the early ball in. It's easy to forget for years we've played a number 10 who builds the play up and you have to delay balls into the box while he then joins the attack. I can't wait to get Maddison back and we see him behind the front 3 as I think he's going to get even more chances.

In Jan no deal, in summer I’d think about it but as a squad player he’s fine, if we want to make the big time challenging for the title and CL etc then I don’t think he’s good enough as our 1st choice n.o9 long term but credit him today for his goal and work rate.

He's very much a penalty area finisher who works best without time to think about the chance and just going on instincts, so better service from crosses and he'll get his numbers no doubt

Today makes 6 goals and 3 assists from 17 matches. If he can keep this up, he’s a 15 goal a season striker which is a decent return in this league.

💯 - I’d keep him. Look at all the teams in the upper echelons of the prem - barring City all are lacking a goalscorer. Think Richy walks into a lot of those teams personally.

He is very good at getting the ball to stick or using his tenacity to win the ball in scrappy situations. His finishing leaves a lot to be desired but then we've been spoiled with Kane up top for an age.

He's doing well, yet you feel he could be doing even better. Not a top tier striker, but decent enough. As others have said, we've been spoilt for a very long time having Kane around.

Playing like the "old Richarlison" would require him to follow-up on this recent scoring spree with only 5 goals or so in the remaining 18 PL games. Hopefully he keeps banging the goals in at his all-time best rate.

Agree.

I think keeping him is fine if we can also sign a Defoe type striker who can score from distance out of nothing as well as getting on the end of crosses.
