A must in games against the top teams ! Against the lower sides that’s when you have a problem and he maybe shouldn’t play

Have to give credit. He was making some excellent cross field passes today

He's really useful against the top teams but in games like today where you really want to control possession he's still really dodgy under the press though. Jose's comments postgame about our midfielders being unable to progress the ball were interesting and a little targeted - really wouldn't be surprised if we go for a player with similar tenacity/discipline to Sissoko but much more technical ability at some point. It's the obvious upgrade to our midfield/attack.

Sabitzer, Bissouma, Anguissa would all be strong options imo.

Lets not forget the leadership and influence he brings to the team. Its not simply a case of switching him out with anyone.

Moussa`s journey at spurs has been strange. I was surprised when we signed him. I was more surprised when I saw his limitations as a footballer in his first season. Maybe it was the way he was used in the system. I thought he was going to get shipped off.
But as a pheonix rising from the ashes he has found his place. So strong. Covers huge areas. Amazing workrate. Runs and runs.

I think every team need a player like Moussa.

We had Mousa who could do all that and be one of the best ball players ever. There are other players who can do all that and still play football and not hide from the ball.

Love moussa and it’s under appreciated how much he brings to the team but move on Winks and Dele and bring in someone of Sabitzer’s quality in CM and Jose could win anything with this group.

He'll be 32 in August, so we will need to start thinking about a replacement sooner or later.

Zakaria would be the dream, but he'll be mega £££

You’ll never improve him technically, but Mourinho has definitely worked with him tactically and he can actually operate much more effectively as a DM now. His positioning is better and he’s smarter.

He’s probably not good enough on the ball to be a sole anchor back there but he’s proving to be more serviceable under Mourinho.

It just have been Sissokos dream when Mourinho showed up and asked the player to try not to have the ball.

Surely you understand that players do need to kick it occasionally. There comes a point where pointing and rugby tackling opponents just isn't enough.
That's a really silly thing to say. Show me one single of Sissoko rugby tackling any opponent and I'll show you 30 examples of him making accurate passes.

Sounds more like you just don't like him

Credit to Jose for using Sissoko in a role that makes full use of his strengths as a footballer and negates his limitations.
