My fave player ever, not just spurs but ever... I loved Mendieta, Silva and David Villa - theyre like my top three but Dembele trumps all of em.

Would definitely make my team of the last decade.

Speaking of which, that could be a fun exercise…

…………………………………..Lloris
Walker Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose
…………………Dembele………….Modric
……….Bale ………….…..VDV ………………….Son
………………………………….Kane

Could replace decade century and it would be appropriate. He’s as good as any centre midfielder I’ve ever seen. A shame we couldn’t have got modric back for a spell to play alongside him, that’s dreams right there.

I would love to see him come back to the club in some capacity, even if it's just to hang around at the training ground!

I don't think he was really appreciated by all when he was here. You don't know what you got till its gone

Luckily he was a rabbit in headlights anywhere near goal so we were privileged to see a lot of him at Tottenham otherwise he’d have been snapped up quicker than you could say overmarsisanonse

I still remember when he played for Fulham against us, skinned Ledley King and slotted it in the bottom corner. His move from striker to midfield was a master stroke. One of my favourite players ever!

I was at that game and thought we need him. He was amazing that day. Was delighted when we signed him.

Came across this in my feed today:

Even Jack Wilshere who hates Spurs said he's the toughest opponent he's faced.

Hard to imagine that every opposition player bounced off him, he was a brick wall. Funnily enough he never lifted weights either. Just strong as an ox
