I was Lloris’ biggest fan but I’m done defending him now.

He should’ve had the captaincy stripped after the drink drive charge, and now he needs to go.

100% agree with you. He's out of strikes with me now and should not be the man leading us out for the first home match at NWHL.

Anyone thinking he's not going to be our number 1 for as long as he wants is on crack.

Poch always defends Hugo and they are clearly very close. To be fair we weren't saying Hugo had to go after Leicester, Arsenal or Dortmund. He's still good, he's just not exceptional like he once was.

Replacing him with significantly better will cost a fortune that we don't have.

Sadly

I'm sorry but he's a goalkeeper, its his job to save shots, the fact he actually does it every now and again does not make him good enough. Pretty much every keeper in the league has games where they make lots of saves, shit goalies sometimes make incredible saves, how many times has Ben Foster done it against us? The difference is a good keeper rarely makes mistakes, and he makes them CONSTANTLY.

Lost his hunger from winning WC imo

100% needs dropping. So poor for a while now. Drop.

Being honest, bit shot in WC too - that error on the WC final being example

His reading of the game and anticipation of danger, is shockingly poor for a keeper of his stature and experience.

Shame to see most have turned against him now.
Was a mighty fine keeper for so long wasting his career at a non cl club , quite loyal.
Seems to be riddled with mistakes now though, not sure why. He's not old and just as agile as always

Needs a break in a summer and then to work hard on rediscovering consistency

No point going on about dropping, Gazzaniga , or buying a replacement. Never ever gonna happen , poch loves and trusts him massively

I partially blame Poch.
Lloris' problems are mostly simple mistakes. Its his distribution, mainly kicking, and decision making.
He's still a top notch shot stopper.
Unfortunately there is a lot more to being a goalkeeper these days that just saving shots.
Why Poch doesnt focus on these deficiencies in training is baffling. Obviously I'm only presuming they dont because its been woeful for years and actually seem to be getting worse so I presume they cant be.

I love Hugo, we should all love him but something seems to be wrong.

I have always felt he was better when coached by Tony Parkes and it’s a bit of an elephant in the room.

Maybe it’s just that he's older and plays under pressure more so he's lost something, I don’t know it’s just sad.

FWIW I agree that Gazzanigga should be given a go. This one is especially tough to take. A Lloris blunder compilation for this year alone would be something exceptional

You don’t have to replace with significantly better, you just have to find one with a better mentality and less error prone in big games.

Granted, that’s not easy. For me though it’s a bit like the Gomes situation when we replaced him with Friedal. Gomes was a far superior shot stopper, but Brad was a much safer pair of hand between the sticks.

You can see the players don't trust him too.

Liverpool played a ball through and toby had it sorted, could have easily passed it back to lloris but instead played it out.

Bored of his mistakes. Today was awful and he has cost us. May have had a blinder v Dortmund and got us a point v Arsenal but that's not good enough when he is costing us in other games. Got to the point where you never know which Lloris is going to turn up and that's just not good enough for a team looking to challenge for things and move forward.

Been a good servant but think we need to be looking at the future now.

That's exactly what I was thinking when he did that. But alderweireld is annoying over caucious and tends to always kick it out

If Poch wants to play from the back he needs a new cat.
Every time the ball goes backwards towards our goal I get paltartations (sp).
