Agreed.The proof will be in the buying of Lo Celso without selling Eriksen. As they would have been a lot of money forked out on two players. Then I can see him doing the rest too,backs etc. I mean even if Eriksen went next year that still would be a huge commitment and a statement of intent to push us up another level
It’s not really belief though after you’ve had proof. For all the praise Poch gets, deservedly so too, the true catalyst for the resurgence of this club is Daniel Levy. I’ve believed for a long time that he’s had a vision to take us into the elite, and nothing I’ve seen to date has altered that belief.
I’m pragmatic enough to know that growth of any company, especially one in as fluid an environment as Football, is not a linear process. Sometimes you have to take a step backwards in order to take two forwards, and this has been demonstrated in full when you look back on the progress of this club since Scholar screwed us.
As far as I’m concerned, when DL says it’s time to believe, I’m as cool as fuck about where we are going, as he really doesn’t make statements like that without having the means to back it up.
