I remember him being class! Shame he didn't stay.

If I recall he was our only defender that season. We kind of played a 1-4-5 formation. No wonder he left

We need two of these guys (if Eriksen leaves) and a RB then I'll be convinced we've seriously closed the gap. I'd like a striker as well but we shall see.

If Eriksen leaves and we just replace him with Lo Celso we're back at square one. City have an amazing starting 11 but they're also able to rotate throughout the season and don't have to rely on only Silva or De Bruyne to carry the creative load all season. We've always struggled for options or additions to Eriksen.

I don't think Eriksen will be keaving and it has already been mentioned that Foyth will.maybe to RB he's played Copa America for ARG in that position

There was a story at the time that Stevie Perryman (Assistant Manager) suggested to Ossie that he took the defenders for training sessions. After much thought, Ossie agreed but only 'released' 3 players from the squad.

There was a story at the time that Stevie Perryman (Assistant Manager) suggested to Ossie that he took the defenders for training sessions. After much thought, Ossie agreed but only 'released' 3 players from the squad.

Some great players in that squad imagine what Poch could of done with the forward line.

It feels like it could turn into the summer of '13. We knew Bale was going and he eventually left in September. We did our buying before we sold, bringing in 6 players for sizable fees which gave us about a zero net spend.

I’d imagine the Felix signing lessens the need for a Lo Celso though.

Sentenced to three and a bit years for money laundering and tax evasion (in connection with football transfers) back in 2014.

That (the Spanish report of it being close and us having offered more) is not Pinocchio-emoji. So it’s true, presumably.

Poch has spoken many times publicly about how important it is that his players are “brave”.

Last year we suffered at times by being a bit ponderous and a bit slow, and our performances were the gutsy ones IMO. You can easily see how players like Ndombele and potentially Lo Celso could change us for the better in that regard.

Foyth will play more minutes next year too so we could certainly end up with an exciting team in Poch’s image next year.
