All jokes aside, from what I've been reading this is the type of player I really think we should be looking at to replace Eriksen. Not like for like but one that will allow us to change system and accommodate another wing forward in the team. I think we'll be a lot stronger in a 433 than a diamond personally.

He isn't equal to both players, maybe better than each alone but not both together. I'd assume that if we sold him we'd bring in a third CM too given we need 2 anyway. Hopefully we do and the third is a proper holding player like Diawara

Because then we are in the same boat as this season with lo celso having to play every game.

It's not rocket science that if you take one amazing player out and replace him with an amazing player then you are as you were.

NDOMBELE is Dembele.

So effectively we have just replaced 2 players that have left and not actually improved our squad depth at all.
