I love his work rate combined with his pace, but in the premier league its going to be difficult for him to get a start considering our winning streak and form, so definitely be good to see some 20 minute cameo's , however EL and FA Cup i'm all for giving him a crack. Great attitude.

I want to see him more.

He's shown good enthusiasm biding his time and the few times we have seen him I am impressed. Good balance and quick feet. Zippy and direct. He should be vital in the last third of the season when certain sides and players efforts start to wane.

Why are some trying to limit his potential this season?

He looked ready to go and why not throw him in and see what he can do. In that brief cameo he showed lots of different exciting qualities.
I still think he needs to add a touch more strength to really make an impact in the PL.

But as an option, today he definitely showed Poch he's ready to come to the party in the 2nd half of the season

I was pleased for him today. He made a difference which is what you want from your subs. I think it's the defensive side of his game that the coaches are working on. Look forward to seeing him in the cup again.

People need to wake up to this guy's potential. He'll bring it.

Poch really needs to get a move with him.

Shown he deserves more bench-time and cameos.

Some games a billy-whizz coming on is priceless in relieving pressure/posing a counter-attack threat.

Good things - pace, two-footed so you never really know whether he's cutting inside or taking you to the byline and he can deliver a good ball. Also tracks back to pressure the ball and can get a tackle in.

Agree, seems a little lightweight against a Chris Brunt or Ryan Shawcross but he wouldn't really be up against them and I suspect he'd do fine against a couple of fullbacks.

After that cameo, and a few of his others throughout the season, I can't see why he shouldn't be included more often. He offers us a point of difference and could be useful as an impact sub late in PL games when we're struggling to break sides down.

If he can improve the defensive side of his game, I can see him as a potential wing back.
But think he is right footed?
Or else he can be a very good understudy to Rose.

He's sooooooooo raw, but completely fearless and a bums off the seat kind of player which we dont really have among the squad.

I'm surprised we haven't seen cameos in matches like Watford, where the game was won and we were in cruise control.

I enjoy watching him and hope to see more of him off the bench.

Have to see more of him. Probably the only true winger in the senior squad, who can beat a man both down the line and inside, has lots of pace, some trickery, and his final ball doesn't look to bad either.

I think the issue Poch is having is how to play someone like GKN, when Rose and Walker are performing so spectacularly. If you play GKN, you crowd the space Rose/Walker love to bomb forward into.

Against Villa, I would have loved to have seen a 4-4-2/4-2-4, with Trippier and Davies bombing forward as they did, GKN playing as a Left Forward, an outlet high up the pitch to stretch Villa's backline, but also able to take on Hutton one on one and deliver crosses into the box. Then Janssen and Son in the box, with Sissoko attacking the far post and Winks around 30 yards out making runs into the box occasionally. I think it would have been a lot more effective.

Looks keen as mustard to impress. Appears to have right attitude and application. I hope he gets more time to show us what he can offer.

his pace against tired legs will be a great asset
Agreed. I do wonder if that 10-15 cameo is where he will shine. What's he like for a whole 90 mins? Does he have the defensive attitudes and positioning ect. I'm not sure poch is 100% which must come from training

I think those are the attributes that he probably needs to develop before he can be considered a starter for us. It will come though but for now he is a great option from the bench and I hope he gets more minutes from now on.

When we play 3 at the back, and Rose isn't starting, we need pace on the left. GKN in front of Davies would help. Could we risk GKN as a left wingback?
