With Kane injured for the next 3/4 games I would start Bale in all of them it’s the only way to 100% know if he still has something or not. TBH the way we look going forward atm we are not really losing anything as none of his competitors for his place are tearing up any trees either

Thing is though the problems run much deeper than who is playing at RW. I wouldn't be surprised if Bale starts the next 3 games and is shit in all of them, but with Son looking just as shit on the other side at the same time too. We are not a flowing side at all right now and I really feel it's hard for attacking players to flourish.

People couldn't wait to jump on him after the Brighton game to reinforce their doubts yet there aren't many attackers who wouldn't look highly ineffective in our current setup.

Its almost madness if Bale is fit and doesnt get a start against chelsea. He was bad against brighton, but so were the 10 others.
Bale has been one of the top players in world football last 10 years. Im not saying he should play on merrit alone, but he needs to be given some time on the pitch to be able to find form.

Will be interesting to see if he starts against Chelsea. My gut tells me that he won't and Lamela will play......I dont think he will start against city either....

I agree.

He won’t start against Chelsea. He lacks the aggression.

I wonder how much of his wages are made up with performance related bonuses.

And if that has influenced his playing time by JM.

I'd say what we've seen on the pitch unfortunately translates to playing time. Still hoping he sparks into life and delivers but it gets less likely every time.

I don’t really get it, why doesn’t he just go for it when he’s on the pitch? Afraid of an injury? But It’s not like he’s got anything to lose, lengthy injury or not, the loan is not going to get extended the way this is going anyway. It’s just so strange, the wycomb game showed he can still take a player on if he wanted to, so why is he playing so within himself?

Quite funny to see him hiding his mouth when talking after it was obvious Jose wasn't going to put him on, almost as if he finally looked pissed off.

If Jose didn't want him he needed to put his foot down

But seen as Jose likes these kind of players, it does seem like he was only to happy for him to come.

Im now certain that Levy and Jose are not on the same page with this one.

Levy pulled out all the stops to bring him.back and Jose has hardly given him a fair crack in the PL. When I say fair crack, I mean 90 mins or back to back games.

For sure Barrett would have been on the phone to Levy wanted to know why he's brought him in to not play him and we already had ITK that everyone was peed off with the situation and that Bale believes he needs consistent game time - which I actually agree with.

Starting to look like pushing for Suarez will have been better however waiting all these years for the return of bale and he gets limited game time when we need him out there is baffling.

Stick him in at number 10 and tell him don't bother pressing if you don't want to, just enjoy yourself.

Sod it, can't be much worse than the team performances we're getting currently

He's totally gone. There's no intensity in his game anymore. He plays like it is his testimonial, smiling with everyone. He is just going with the flow.

He's always grinning away he's off his nut i reckon and loving that there's no crowd to shout at him.
