Kulusevski deal, if true, sounds pretty good. Basically if he's a dud we don't have to sign him, if he is brilliant we oblige to sign him. Similar to Gollini

Didnt they pay €32 million for him? He's not really lived up to expectation and now they're making a profit on him?

I dont hate the move, as long as Bergwijn stays. As replacement, i dont like it as we’re short in that area. I think we need an RWB & another CM with Bentancur assuming all 3 of Gio, Dele & Ndombele leave

Sounds like this is moving but why the fuck it has to play out in the media every hour is anyone’s guess. Doesn’t help anybody.

Surely Kulusevski and Lucas competing from right.

Son and Bergwijn off left.

The latter 2 cover for Kane (As usual cant see a striker signing)

This is my concern. Paratici and Conte's closest media link has the leak. Always feel like it could be a smokescreen the way Paratici worls.

Think 40m euros is a lot but if he plays 15 games and we get CL then likelihood is it will have been a successful few months and it won’t look *too* bad.

I think people are underestimating this guy. He was brilliant at Parma and hasn't been given a serious run of games to get going at Juve. He's built for the Prem and I genuinely think he is going to be a good buy for us.

Ok I’m more on board with this signing now.

If he flops completely then we don’t have to buy him outright.

Even if he’s underwhelming, but we qualify for the UCL, then the signing is pretty much paid for with qualification money.

Hoping he can get back to his Parma levels!

His Parma season was exceptional. Was on loan from Atalanta at the time and probably would’ve been better served going back there as the jump straight to Juve proved a little too much at 19. We’re desperate for someone who can create chances as well which is what this guy does. Shame we haven’t got a flying RWB that can bomb outside him whilst he comes inside and playmakes.

Di Marzio:

Tottenham offer for Kulusevski

The most recent update concerns the Dejan Kulusevski situation. The offer from Tottenham, whose general manager, Fabio Paratici, was the one who brought the Swede to Turin, has reached 40 million. The formula would be that of the loan with obligation of redemption: an obligation conditional on parameters such as the qualification in the Champions League of Spurs and a set number of appearances for the player.

Bentancur's situation

Rodrigo Bentancur, on the other hand, seems to have decided to decline Aston Villa's offer, preferring the one from Tottenham. The deal would materialize with the formula of the definitive title, for a total sum higher than 20 million, the amount offered by Aston Villa, including bonuses. It is more likely that the two operations will be realized independently of each other. As a matter of fact, both players are getting closer and closer to Tottenham: last details to be settled and then the double transfer will become concrete. To be considered the amount that Juventus will have to pay to Boca Juniors, 30% of the final price.

Guy is quality!
He is decent and most of all he's young. The feeling in sweden was that even though he did really well at Parma, his move to Juve would probably be too much too soon. He's hopefully gonna do well here but he's in no way a top, a top player at this moment in time.

Still can't see how his performances since moving to Juve has warrented an increased fee from when they bought him from Parma.

Thats circa £33m. He has good potential. He needs good coaching. If Conte wants him, then fine with me at that price. Could sell on for 25m if it doesnt work with a minor loss. If it semi works, could sell on for 50-55m, if it works extremely well, could sell on for 75m+ & have us hoping we dont sell. Worth it to me?‍♂️

Kulusevski and Bentancur for roughly what Luis Diaz is costing is arguably better business and solves more problems for us.*

*(although this may just be my brain trying to justify losing out on Diaz)

People need to put into perspective that he is still only 21 and a club like Juventus has HUGE expectations with regards to midfielders. They have to live up to the likes of Pirlo. Very few will actually reach that level.

I think this could be a great signing for us to be honest. At the very least for my career modes on FIFA and Football Manager post January it'll be good..
