Imo Juventus agree to release Kulusevski because of 2 reasons. One, they are not sure if Kulusevski can live up to the expectation. Juventus have a lot of young talents. He is just one of them.

Second, there is another more superior youngster in Juventus who is 3 years younger than Kulusevski but is more promising and does play at exact same position as him (AMR), also another left footed player who likes to cut inside. His name is the 18 years old, Matias “the next Di Maria” Soule. Juventus believe in Soule potential more than Kulusevski. In Juventus he is considered the best talent. More superior than Kulusevski or Kai Jorge.

Kulusevski is not a bad player at all, but for me he is unproven (not even a main back up for Juventus) and a bit risky especially for potentially €40 million (if obligation to buy). It is a bit of a panic buy but yes, I can’t think of a better consolation prize than him after failing to get Diaz with just 3 days to go. If we do get get, I am not sure if he will be a starter right away. Moura will still start I think, but I am sure he will get more minutes than Gil when he just joined Totenham.

Kulusevski and Betancur I hope we get both of them.
