Yeah thats the problem....you are not going to get the microbrews that you get over here, over there. <snip>

Six Points is also lovely, Wetherspoons cheekily got exclusivity rights to sell it over here (I think it may only be for a certain amount of time) so you can only get it in one of their places though. If you've got a relatively quiet one slightly out of the way near you (or are out for a quick one on a week night) it's worth a visit to try some, the Bengali Tiger especially.

As for Yedlin, I'm excited to see how he develops wherever on the pitch he ends up playing long-term. If we can help develop one of the big prospects in the USMNT into a big name player it'll not only be good for us on the pitch but also in our quest to grab a big chunk of the PL marketing potential in the US.

I'll be very surprised if this guy isn't playing as a winger for us.
I disagree, he doesnt have the mentality to become a winger, maybe later but at the moment he is only good enough as an attacking RB even that I'm not so sure about

We are all judging him on his cameo against international teams in the world cup

From what I have seen of him he doesn't look like he'd be a great winger. He looks just like Valencia/Lennon as opposed to one with skill. Think that is better for a wingback.

As someone who works in the MLS and watches a lot of it, I can say with some certainty that he's not a winger. He's definitely a through and through right back. He would be atrocious up on the wing except in a late game situation where we might be trying to add pace.

Well, weak beer sure. That's why I buy canadian beer! But ford, dodge, chevy, etc are very well made cars for the most part.

Weak beer? The best beer in the world comes from America if you're drinking the good stuff. Obviously don't drink Bud or Miller or Coors but the rest of it is delicious.

Outside of Ford the rest of those car brands are terrible. German is the way to go with cars.

There's a definite idea over here that many Americans not only have a totally different idea about themselves to what everyone else does, but it tends to be an image of them being on the pinnacle, beneath which the rest of the world sits... understandable in a way in that so much of what the US does is at the pinnacle, and undoubtedly the US is the most powerful nation on earth, but anyway, I think we can safely say that while in terms of Silicon valley type stuff, movies, arms, a host of other stuff US is top dog, when it comes to food, beer, and even automobile culture, the US is probably very far from the best...

Considering we are full to the limit on non-HG players i'm interested on who is going to make way for Yedlin to be registered.

Got to be Naughton.

Although I suspect Yedlin will end up playing a few U21 matches before heading out on loan.

Naughton is counted as HG though. Yedlin would have to replace a non-HG/foreign player.

Although I agree with you that he might go out on loan.

Naughton's homegrown isn't he?

Yeah, my bad. I somehow missed the HG player part and just focused on who he would replace in the squad

As I say though, I do suspect that we might not be registering him straightaway. I guess it also depends on who we can shift. If we go by ITK it all point to that there are 5-6 that can go and it just depends who we get offers for.

It looks like he didn't even need the Latvian Passport in the end and he's allowed in for some other reason :ROFLMAO:

Does Yedlin not count as U21 for the rest of the current season and as a result does not need to be registered?
