He looks so different to when I last saw him. Has really grown into a man over the past year.

Yeah, definitely looks like he’s built for it now and I’m excited to see what he can do on loan if he stays healthy. Looks primed for a breakout campaign.

Needs a loan sorted so badly.

What have we been doing with our young players exactly. The EFL started yesterday.

I think he and Devine have legitimate chances to be starting players for us in the future, but only if we stimulate their development.

Yeah I think not having a DoF or even Munn in place is really causing us problems when it comes to outgoings.

As things stand I'm fully expecting an absolutely chaotic final few days of the window with countless rushed loans, players being flogged for pennies and us still left with a squad too large to register everyone.

Paratici must pay for his crimes and stop having all these weird defenders online who keep saying that it’s OK actually that our DoF got a 3 year ban from football.

Its so clear that Levy is the only negotiator and key decision maker this window, which is why all the peripheral stuff (loans, minor outgoings, etc) has been put on pause for the Kane saga.

It's hard to find the right loan, if he doesn't score a goal in first 2-3 games there's a chance he gets permanently benched. Not sure what we plan with him.

I'm hoping he's involved this season tbh, loan might be best as others have said, we have a couple of games to have a look but maybe we could do Luton a favour.

Postecoglou on his plans for Dane Scarlett

We'll see. He's been really good. I've been really impressed with him since we've come in. He had a bit of an injury which set him back a little bit in pre-season but we're keeping him with us at the moment.

I'll probably make the decision on Dane in the next couple of weeks. It's always a fine balancing act of whether they stay with us in the training environment, depending on the type of game time we think they'll get, as opposed to going out and getting some meaningful game time at his age.

We'll make that decision but I'm really happy with the way he's developed and the way he's training and we'll make that decision over the next week or so.

Good response, don't think Ange has put a foot wrong so far.

He needs another season long loan. His anticipation needs works and he'll only improve that side of his game by playing competitive games.

He had a couple of good involvements, the counter attack where he drove forward, shimmied past someone and we ended up with a dangerous free kick was probably his best work.

But he's definitely lacking half a yard in his head and for that to develop I think he needs a loan.

He either needs a loan or to definitely get useful minutes with us.

Sitting on the bench and coming on for the last 5 minutes of games that are already over will do him no good at all.

To be honest, he's always reminded me of Onomah, in that I see absolutely nothing in him to suggest he will make it at Prem level. I can see how he'd be good at youth level, but I just don't see anything in terms of special technique, touch, vision or ability to finish from anywhere. If he was a youth product at Utd or Liverpool etc, I doubt we'd be thinking they have a major young talent coming through. To be fair, I didn't see anything special with Kane, but at least with the benefit of hindsight, you can look back at his youth clips and see the technique and finishing ability, which, at the time, was overshadowed by the fact he looked like he was going to fall over whenever he ran. Dane is a really good athlete, but, as a pure footballer, I just don't see it and therefore think he'll find his level below the Prem.

Maybe I just haven't seen the games where he dribbles past several players or curls shots into the top corner etc, but I'm seeing the kind of striker you'd have found at Birmingham City in the 1980's. I'm not writing him off or anything as I've learned from being wrong so many times in the past, but when I look at the attributes of the top Prem strikers in recent years, like Kane, RVP and Aguero etc, I don't see Dane as having them.

The same could have been said about Kane. Nobody saw what he became as a player.

I think his instinctive finishing is very strong (albeit not tested at the highest level).

I’m glad he has developed his physique, but I guess you could argue he is at a crossroads now in terms of what will be the second string to his bow - back to goal, presser, run the channels, interlink the play. Being a pure finisher will not be enough, but he does have time.

Good loan for Dane, under a good manager who won't screw him over like that prick Johnnie Jackson did with Nile John at Charlton, and at a team currently playing well. Hopefully he gets a good amount of minutes.
