He didn’t look like he had the energy to celebrate let alone run. And I think he showed enough pace - anymore and he would be offside, and I remember Kane being so slow in his first games with us but you saw him get a little quicker, a little quicker, each and every time and if Scarlett can do that, he’ll be more than fine enough

He isn’t slow. But neither is he rapids. Very intelligent player who has an innate instinct as a striker.

Not in the squad yesterday. Cannot be a coincidence as he was not in their squad for the 1st round of the fa cup. So he is not cup tied. Does this mean he is returning in January? I cannot see why he would not feature otherwise?

I think (hope) that with season long loans we look at a January recall - maybe they are not playing, maybe they need a step up, slight chance we might want them back - and not being cup tied might be important if we do want them playing somewhere else in the second half of the season.

Hopefully if he stays with them for the rest of the season we let him play in the next round

Just a guess but it’s been rumoured we might recall him to send him on loan in the Championship. Not sure at all where I read that but I’m sure I have somewhere
Seen a Rumour going around but don’t think we should be doing that to Pompey

I think we should do what’s best for our biggest young talents development tbh. Shit for Pompey but we weren’t obliged to send him there in the first place and I’m sure there would have been plenty of interest, he’s been highly regarded for quite a while now

It sounds like he has played well for them, but I'm not if he is ready for the step up.

I am not sure either, however, a great loan for him would be at Michael Carrick Middlesbrough. With Danes instincts and Giles whipping balls in (almost unplayable balls at times) it could be a great move for him
