I really think the way this has been drawn out is just so Atalanta could get their replacements in without those fees been inflated. I reckon we met their demands last week but they stalled because they wanted players in first. We knew this too.

Everything else has been for show.

JJ and VY were telling people to relax. They wouldn't have done that had they not been so sure because they never do say a transfer is done until it is.

No profit up front, but they “owe” 16m on Romero and won’t on Demiral so from an accounting POV they are making 16m.

It means they are getting Demeril for no financial outlay.

Passed it on behind the scenes first thing this morning but was told again that everything was agreed with Romero.

As soon as Demiral is agreed, this will move very quickly.

I'm also still incredibly confident that Tomiyasu will join us following the conclusion of the Olympics. A deal has been agreed in principle for weeks.

I've had no info on the Kane situation unfortunately.

Nice to have some good news today. Hopefully they wrap up the Demiral loan quickly and we can get Cuti in and settled. Feel he needs a top quality partner to really solidify our defence though.
