Or, we set our terms, they’ve thought about it and they’ve offered what we want?

Not everything needs a tin hat.

which ever way you wanna read it, for me as I’ve mentioned in previous posts is why we’ve seen such a flurry in activity last couple days.

I want to read it in the non-tin hat conspiracy smokescreen way.

Well I do warmly welcome our new South American striker dream team duo with Richy as the sensei and Alejo as his protégé.
I think this is the best way to view the signing - back up for Richy rather than a Kane replacement.

The lad on twitter said he was "just preparing" so not exactly confirming Kane is gone.
Infairness the game being referred to on the original quote is probably Harry's greatest ever game for us so could be just getting nostalgic about potentially not seeing such a performance again

Hold this, an old source but potentially been some movement with Harry. Let me repeat, it's an old source but someone who was fairly accurate in the past.
Uh oh, assume this is about Harry leaving rather than staying?

With the club now back from tour and the season getting near, movement was always going to start this week anyway.
I'll admit that it's a bit strange not to let them keep this kid for another 6 months but maybe we've got other plans for him?

That's not to say that Kane isn't off, just that the flurry of activity had to happen soon anyway, we've got a lot of work to do still.

Not worth getting worked up over, as I said, it's an old source I've not heard off for a while so no idea if it has legs, just interesting he reached out this morning. I'm sure there will be plenty more twists over the next week before the season starts.

I know Frey Bentos is a town in Argentina and if you go on goole street view you can see the old factory where they made the pies. Hope that helps?

I was intrigued by this so had to check it myself.

It's in Uruguay, across the river from Argentina.

If we are not loaning him back to Rosario that would pretty strongly suggest he's going to be back-up to Richarlison, verdad?

Or have I missed something baout another loan?

In my view, we'd want to get him acclimatised to the English game. If we were to loan him out it would be to a Championship/League One team. Unless he is clearly good enough to play some minutes for the first team. The ONLY way we'd allow him to be loaned back is surely to secure the deal if that was one of Rosario's red lines.

Well the timing is interesting at least, given Kane wants it resolved ASAP and the rumblings of a Friday deadline.

Think it could be time for Bayern to put up or shut up;.

Yeah you would think so - he is very young but has been playing regular football and could come straight into the squad as a rotation option if needed. As you say if Kane goes he could end up getting a lot of minutes and possibly even starts by the end of the season.

I like this kind of signing, low cost, low risk, great potential. I would like to see him in the squad for at least 6 months rather than this trend of immediately loaning out. Phillips as a young CB i definitely see the advantage of getting game time as it would be 3-4 years before a defender comes of age and can read the game as well as match the physicality. Forwards are different and can make a difference much sooner. I look at Alvarez at City at 21 and being on the bench and coming in for the odd game has done him and City wonders over the past year (not saying this kid is of that quality but it would be worth having a look before we ship him off).

No idea why everyone is assuming we won’t loan him out. Surely that’s possible and would make more sense than loaning back if can push him into a stronger league

Not everything needs a tin hat.

that fairs although I don’t think the original was tin hat. Levy and Bayern could easily have come to an understanding to downplay the transfer chances for his or own own benefit.
