Very strange, it is a link (which worked earlier) for a letter from Roy Hodgson putting his support behind the project as a perfect place for the England team to stay at when playing at Wembley.
It's letters like that which show how stupid it was building the national football centre in Burton. If it was near london they could just stay there.
Hopefully thfc are charging the fa a fortune for the privilege of staying there.
St George's Park's principal purpose, in addition to providing facilities for a diverse variety of teams and clubs that wouldn't otherwise have access to such facilities, is to be a breeding ground for a greatly increased quantity of qualified coaches who will be superior to those currently working within the English game.
The FA didn't spend £50m odd on it just so that it could house the England team during international weeks!
So it's actually eminently sensible for the facility to be located more or less in the middle of the country - where everyone can access it relatively easily.
That England headed paper -
"Her Majesty the Queen"
"Prince William"
Fuuuuuccckkk offfffff bothered.
Prince William is the President of the FA, and has been for 9 years now, so that'll be why he's on the top of the page.
Interesting fact: None a single one of the board on the FA have ever played professional football. Not a game between them.

8. Recommendation
8.1. That following referral to the Mayor of London and no objections being raised, as well
as referral to the Secretary of State and no objections being raised, the Head of
Development Management or the Planning Decisions Manager be authorised to
GRANT planning permission
Slightly ambiguous.
Does this mean that referrals to the Mayor of London and Secretary of State have already been made and we are good to go? Or does it mean that those referrals are yet to be made but, if Boris and Pickles (I presume) have no objections, then Enfield are happy to grant planning permission?
Don't think its ambiguous - its been referred to Boris and no objections received, Ditto Secretary of State, and hence 'the Head of Development Management or the Planning Decisions Manager be authorised to GRANT planning permission
You might be right that these things have happened - and I hope you are - but it is, nevertheless, written ambiguously and open to either interpretation.
Presumably it wouldn't only be England who might want to use it, European CL teams when playing in London maybe.
