I think fans might want to stay

Maybe some would as a one-night thing for a laugh but I can't see there being enough demand for that to be a viable business for the club. As far as I'm concerned the whole thing only really makes sense if you're a team of 20-odd people looking for somewhere to stay and train for a couple of days. Just renting out rooms to one bloke or a couple of spurs fans wanting to hang around for the sake of it doesn't really make much sense to me. It's not like staying there would automatically grant you access to hang out in the gym with the first team squad or take part in training with them. You'd essentially just be paying to spend the night in a hotel next door to a gym in the middle of nowhere.

Also if the money is in renting the facility out to professional teams, those kinds of clients are going to be put off by the prospect of having half a dozen random blokes hanging around the place for no reason. If you're on a pre-season training camp the last thing you need is Dave and Rodge from Basingstoke gawping at you and trying to get selfies every 2 minutes

I think it is implied that it would only be rented when not in use by us or any other team or club, so neither Dele or Lamela would not be meeting Dave and Rodge from Basingstoke. I agree though, renting out to all and sundry should be a non starter.
