We must improve our full-backs. I think it would be foolhardy to spend an additional 80m on this guy and go into the season with KWP, Davies, Rose and Aurier as our options at LB and RB. Strengthen where we’re weakest. We did the right thing with NDombele, I hope we do so in other areas.

From what I have seen, Lo Celso is also a CM link player a la Modric? Sessegnon is a logical target... and an RB?

Dybala is exciting but we don’t have an unlimited amount of blank cheques.

We’ve seen those lot over the road continually buy forwards to the detriment of their back line. Let’s not make the same mistakes. Every goal conceded is just as important.

Yeah let's be fair about this if Juve come to us and say "hey, wanna sign Dybala? we value him at 80m"

Levy, of ALL people, is hardly gonna go, oh yeah sweet, here's 80m.

The worst thing a club can do to a man like Daniel Levy is offer up a player cos we then hold all the leverage when it comes to the price.

Maybe that's why Juve have pulled out of FIFA game and have signed a new deal with PES? Raising new higher income stream?

My son told me this weeks ago and I didn't pay much attention, but it is the proof they are attempting to raise more cash.

'FIFA 20 goes on sale in September but fans are already sceptical after it was announced that Juventus will be renamed Piemonte Calcio after giving their naming rights exclusively to PES.' Quote from today's Sun.

I think it's time we got our first video in the thread - so I found this one.

The more and more I watch him, the more he reminds me of the Serie A Lamela we bought. Other than Dybala being more a finisher.
He's actually not thaaat slow, well he lacks pace but it's not that bad imo.

How come juve are in desperate need of cash? They win the league every year and get alot of players on frees. Do they have an unsustainable wage bill or something?

if juv are trying to sell us the player no doubt levy is going to low ball them at first

Hopefully. They haven’t had negotiations with him before have they? and I suspect levy won’t of forgotten agnelli approaching the ref at half time of our quarter final against them two seasons ago trying to put pressure on him.

Hopefully poch has spoken to the player and convinced him.

They spent big on Ronaldo and De Ligt recently and I know Ramsey is on 400k, plus they added Can on a free last year and Rabiot on a free, I imagine they're on high wages.

This as well as earning c.£35m less in revenue a year than us and trying to sustain those wages

We missed out on Grealish and the rolled down sock quota must be filled. Dybala is the obvious choice.

I can’t believe I’m getting sucked into the hope but I sort of am. There’s this bit in my tummy that keeps flinching and, all sodding day, I keep checking to see if we have signed him. Even though I know we won’t.

38 years old.

What a fucking twat. When will this stupidity end?

you're checking to see if weve signed a player we've had links to for 24/48 hours..... we've been linked to sessegnon for the best part of 18/24 months and still haven't got that done :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yes they do! their wage bill is over double ours and they have lower turnover and annual profits than we do.

To be fully honest, I don't rate him that highly.

Feels like he's hyped because of his fifa rating more than anything else.
