To be fully honest, I don't rate him that highly.

Feels like he's hyped because of his fifa rating more than anything else.

I think it's time we got our first video in the thread - so I found this one.

The more and more I watch him, the more he reminds me of the Serie A Lamela we bought. Other than Dybala being more a finisher.
He's actually not thaaat slow, well he lacks pace but it's not that bad imo.

Why do some of the video creators feel the need to show the same goal from 6 different angles? Ok if its a worldy but a tap in just makes me want to close the window.

Agree annoying as f***. There's actually not that many videos of him. Only "Best goals 2016/17" etc.

Or, you know, because in his time in Serie A he's gone better than a goal or assist once every other game, including a season with 22 goals and a season with 19 as a second striker/number 10, and he's played excellent football in the CL.

I have some concerns myself. I do worry about attackers from Italy. Look at Cuadrado, starter at Juve, abysmal at Cheslea. I like Lamela but I do feel like we kinda got catfished by him! We thought we were getting a Bale replacement but ended up getting a player who's best attribute is pressing. I guess Salah is an obvious example otherwise, but he looked quality at Basel too.

I also liked the fact that we seemed to be targeting players carefully now, not just going for players offered to us. Dybala seems to fall into the latter. Will Dybala be motivated to prove a point, or sulk because he's 'taken a step down'?

I can understand that Ronaldo marginalised Dybala last season but the Juve fans don't seem too bothered by him leaving. He was their star man 2 years ago!

That said he clearly has supreme talent when on it, and marquee signings can just give everyone at the club a lift, that kind of intangible can go a long way. Suddenly the players and fans believe we mean business, and that can translate to success on the pitch.

I also share the concerns of others that we could be neglecting full back improvements whilst chasing attackers.

Mixed feelings on this one. He's obviously a top tier player with a huge amount to offer and would most likely bag a hatful of goals for us. He also has the flashes of brilliance that can change any game and get crowds holding their breath.

But, the downside is that I can't see us keeping Eriksen if he comes in. Yes, Eriksen had a poor season last time but there were plenty of reasons for that (been discussed ad nauseam). IMO, if we add LoCelso to our midfield, Eriksen will get a new lease of life and we could see him tearing it up again. He will also have competition for his place since GLC can play at 10 as well which should give him the challenge he says he wants. He wouldn't need to keep dropping deep to get things going with Ndombele and GLC adding some flair in CM.

Conversely, Dybala might take a while to settle in and find his role in our team. It seems like a bit too much upheaval in one go which could work fabulously well or might backfire spectacularly.

We've been linked to many players so far this window with only Ndombele being signed. Seriously Dybala Lo Celso Eriksen I would love this BUT my sensible head says this is not financially possible .
