Look how Zaha bullied our defence - but most posters on here turned their noses up at the idea of him.

A Traore/Zaha type player would work wonders in this team.
100% this. Just someone to carry it up the pitch abit, win freekicks, take the pressure off. Sadly one of the few things that Levy and our fans have seen to eye to eye on, not singing Traore.

It’s gonna be another long season huh.. Expected that. Nuno was never gonna work, doesn’t matter how good of a window we had or not he isn’t playing like we do at Spurs. Today was utterly embarrassing and I don’t care how many players we misssed. The effort, selection and playing way vs Crystal Palace of all teams STINKS.
Chelsea next week mother of all trashings

Levy said we didn't need one because he knew better and that is a large part of the problem.

He’s magic you knowwww

Nuno Espirotooo

We had a lot of players out - we put out a bang average team and that midfield trio will hopefully never be seen again on the same pitch.

that said would agree it is worrying how Nuno failed to react whatsoever to what we were all seeing

And that Gil wasn’t seen as an option for Winks Who just weeks ago was apparently being told he has no future
Was apparently being readied to come on at 0-0 just before the sending off which stymied that.

My problem with Levy in regards to this, is if you hire a manager than you have to give him the players he needs to make the way he wants to play work. So often Levy looks at our squad and decides that should be enough quality without taking into account the way a manager wants to play.

Traore would have been great for us today and like you say what we needed, a player when we are struggling to get out who could get us up the field. It's not like we have a creative midfield to do that.

It's a recipe for disaster and not surprising why we've had some many sacked managers and so few trophies. Frustrating.

Don't do that please.

Don't shift the blame onto Nuno

Every one needs to realise the ball lies at the top and with a guy who believes success comes by ensuring the numbers on the sheet are looking good.

Doesnt matter if we had Conte, Bielsa or Curbishley.

This club is being held back by one man/company

My last thought on today’s debacle. Next time someone says we shouldn’t be bothered about trying to win the Europa Conference League, remind them of this game and what our current level is.

Looks like a back 3 when allplayers back. Two very attacking full backs. Kane and Son up front with Dele or Gil or Lo Celso behind.
Thought Jaffa looked good till he lost it.
