Having the stomach for the fight is not giving up 2-0 leads though. We had them in the palm of our hand, but we lost our heads - not just in terms of bookings, but in terms of controlling the game which is the most important thing. Any old bunch of cloggers in Sunday League can go around the pitch kicking opponents, but not everyone can maintain discipline and tactically foul when needed, and kill a game when you are cruising 2-0 up.
I didn't call this team a bunch of cloggers, I merely said anyone can kick people, winning matches takes skill.Really, we were cruising? I don't think we were and it didn't surprise me that it ended on a draw. We were at the home of the champions who have been in fine form since Guus took over it wasn't like earlier in the season under Muareen. Likening this fine young team to a bunch of Sunday league cloggers is shameful. Hopefully it'll be a learning curve but the incidents on Monday were not of their making.
Yes?Jesus...
Can't you just go quietly? Nobody cares.
It's the first game anything has ever happened like that. About "what we've become", you drama queen.
