Maybe they'd also ducked. ?Seems pretty obvious to me that this post is tongue in cheek. Even flagged it up with *ducks*. But seems that it went over others' heads.
Or maybe it's me who has got it wrong?

Unnecessary regardless, mate. But especially so since you missed the joke.Twat comment
Tbf missing a position we don't actually use does make a lot of senseI don't get why we want Zaniolo. In Bissouma, Hojberg, Bentacur, Skipp (even if we loan/sell NDombele, Winks and Sarr) we've got 2 options for each of our two CM positions.
In Son, Moura, Richarlison, Kulusevski, Gil (and Perisic) we have plenty of options for the two wide forward positions.
What we're lacking is a link man, an Erikson position so we can stick with Kane up top and still have Son as an alternative forward - ie not have to rely on both Kane & Son through the centre.
Zaniolo is not that player!
Surely that would be TittisportTuttosport saying we are going to try do a deal at the weekend.
I apologise if this is the Italian Daily Sport.
Zaniolo isn’t a cm and gil will get loaned out. He offers competition for the rw/st spots. Maddison is a quality player but why do we want someone who only fits in the team if we completely change the system. Paqueta and Zaniolo make way more sense even if Maddison is the better player.I don't get why we want Zaniolo. Bare in mind hes costing us nearly 1m a month for as long as hes here.I'd be surprised if DL were to let Ndombele go for £10m.
Wherever he goes if he goes. We are going to have to subsidise his wages / pay him off. Going to be nasty as it’s £31m over 3 years. Might have to let him go for free and see if someone will give him a signing on fee.Bare in mind hes costing us nearly 1m a month for as long as hes here.
Conte wants him mate, I don't think we need to complicate things any more than that. Especially as Conte will know how he's going to set up and use him, and we do not.I don't get why we want Zaniolo. I'd like to think the world cup being so near improves our chances of shifting a few. The risk of loosing/not-earning a spot with their respective countries will likely encourage a few to accept some offers and leave. Lo Celso is a prime example, I could see him accepting a move to Fiorentina as the window draws to an end.Oh and we do not have to ship out before another comes in. We are actively trying to achieve both, so whichever happens first just happens.

These types of comments are the worst ones to read on here.Come on mate we have 100's of Football manager professionals here....They know exactly where he plays ????????
What the funny ones? ?These types of comments are the worst ones to read on here.
Why are you even thinking about Bissouma, Bentancur etc. Zaniolo is not a central midfielder, and is not a CF, but he is perfect for a RWF in a 3-4-3. Especially when the width and crossing will come from an attacking WB, allowing him to focus on playing in the channel and running with the ball at defenders. I think Conte does not think Gil is ready (he hasn't shown much in friendlies) and sees Zaniolo as the competition for Kulusevski's spot. Richarlison is competition for both Son and Kane (and is not as effective on the right). Conte also clearly sees Moura as a RWB at best now.I don't get why we want Zaniolo. In Bissouma, Hojberg, Bentacur, Skipp (even if we loan/sell NDombele, Winks and Sarr) we've got 2 options for each of our two CM positions.

For me they are and they aren’tThese types of comments are the worst ones to read on here.
On the other hand though it would be interesting to see someone claim this guy is going to be a roaring success and state why, rather than shit on people who aren’t keen while sitting on the fence themselves to avoid later ridicule. Doesn’t really add anything does it? Obviously nobody knows for sure how he’s going to work out as a signing but all I’ve really seen in here is fence sitting or shitting on people that think he’s not the right playerFor me they are and they aren’t
If someone posts an opinion with cast iron certainty that closes any argument then they leave themselves open to it and that’s fair enough. They deserve it. Obv the reverse is true.
