Yeah it was an interesting discussion apart from some of the rubbish coming out of Keown of course. The comments though read out shows how many "football" fans don't actually know anything about other leagues and teams other than their own team and are pretty insular about it all. I'd rather call these people, team fans than football fans.

In regards to my own opinion i am actually quite excited about this if it happens and far more than i was about Conte as i just did not like his attitude and style of football and especially Mourinho who i despised because of attitude but also style of football which was just rubbish. I supported them as much as i could do and it's Spurs so i will support all managers but when they play such terrible football and losing while doing it my support for them starts to disappear.

Ange though has a philosophy around Football that i really like and i think he has the mentality to do things his way whilst also getting spurs back to playing attacking, exciting football.

I think people are focusing too much on Ange's Celtic tactics as the way we'll definitely line up.

I've not seen any detailed analysis of his previous jobs yet, though I'm sure it'll come, but I doubt he played a super aggressive high pressing 4 3 3 religiously in all of them. Most of his previous teams weren't the biggest or best resourced teams in their competition. I saw he played a 3 at the back with Australia at times.

So he's (hopefully) someone who adapts his tactics to the situation, whilst still keeping to his core philosophy.

I think Conte, and to a lesser extent mourinho and poch, have negged people into assuming that every coach is a inflexible militant ideologue who plays the same way regardless of their team or players.

Also I think he's made some poor career decisions by jumping at BM and PSG. Both will be round again but neither fit the model he's been successful in

My god Matterface is a 24 carat **** isn’t he. He’s bad enough on comms, but he’s constant hectoring of Jordan here and his misinformed bullshit opinions really combine to make the kind of cocktail that induces instant diarrhoea and vomiting.
