This is quite a telling interview for me - very coy on whether he is staying and whether he had actually spoken to us in the second half of the interview.
Still time for Levy and Donna Culls em to take a dump on the table in the final negotiations though.

In his broadcaster interview AP said something about going on his family holiday from Tuesday next week. The way he made it sound is that he’ll be leaving everything behind and will be fully switching off after the long season.

Perhaps we’ll find out either way by end of Monday…

Interesting answer that. Could well be he has already made his mind up to stay.....

Sad thing is I'm really not concerned if it falls through. Although I just want a manager sorted soon either way. I think we're at a point where it will be an underwhelming appointment to some extent whoever it is. That doesn't mean they won't do well though as we've seen in the past. I'm just going to be thankful if we can start to play attacking football again and we'll see how it goes. It will be nice to enjoy the games again.

I think until Kane and Levy agree on how to proceed it's difficult to see any new coach implementing new things. It would most likely just be basic training.

Getting away with what again? We appointed Conte and Mounriho at massive expense. Both flops.

I'm glad there's a bit of disagreement on it, a bit of spice to the appointment. Im sick of taking the safe route. We are just not going to compete with our current ownership taking a by the numbers approach. Universal consensus when we appointed Conte that we had done the right thing....this is it, finally we win things. Look how that turned out.

I want something different. Something outside the box, a fresh approach. Even if it's a failure we get attacking football and some entertaining games of football.

Levy getting away with appointing Jose & AC and not backing as he should when appointing these types of manager f**king hell, I like to be on the positive side but I'll not be forgetting Levy fucked the best period in his tenure and set us back years, with piss poor leadership and profit over progress mentality....

In the unlikely event that Big Ange turns us down - I would give the eventual new manager approximately 0% chance of making it to Christmas.

That said, I don't think Postecoglou will throw away his shot.

Based on every ITK on here, I can’t see a single reason to be positive about any appointment. They all universally agree that the show is being run by clowns. A house divided by idiocy, incompetence, narcissism, and greed. A house described that way will always fall. So, what’s the point and who cares who we hire? Because it sounds like each and every coach is simply managing the symptoms! The culture being described, sounds like is chronic illness, that is inoperable and is in the clutches of a terminal spiral.

So, really? Does any of this bullshit matter anymore? Sounds like ITKers are in unambiguous agreement that we are anchored in purgatory. I don’t see any reason really to get excited or annoyed at any appointment, as no matter who they are, it won’t fix the illness. That’s what tugs at my heart the most. This picture that has been painted is one of futility and failure. Why bother getting happy or distressed by Ange or Enrique or Potter or JN or De Zerbi or anyone? Sounds like all roads lead to nowhere as long as ENIC and Daniel are captaining the ship.

For me, hearing all of that has drained my love for the club, as it makes it impossible not to see shoots of hope dying before they even have a chance to flower.
100% this.

As has been said many times, any manager is set up to fail here with the meddling from the know nothing Directors. I hope Munn isn’t a puppet and tells Levy and co to fuck off out of football affairs, but I fear it’ll be rinse and repeat for whoever inherits the poisoned chalice

Celtic have won more domestic trebles than any other team in football history (7)

They have won the treble 5 times since 2016/2017.

That isn't to discredit anyone. Just thought it was an absolutely insane stat.
It means they have won a domestic treble 4 times in a row, and 5 times in 6 seasons.

Scottish football is in an absolutely terrible state for the neutral.

Or anyone who isn't a Celtic supporter really.

Romano says Enrique is absolutely gagging for the Spurs job (don't know why tbh)
All I can think of now is the two tailors from the Fast Show.

“Ohhh you want it do you sir? Selling before you buy sir? A stolen tryst in the cheese room sir? Ohhh suits you sir!”
