scenes if ange doesn't go through looool. 🤣🤣

regardless of whether he's the right choice or not, at the very least we'll be getting entertaining front foot football where everyone works their bollocks off. No more passengers giving half assed efforts. The likes of hobby and skip won't dare to pass the ball backwards to the keeper anymore 😤😤

Say we get Ange then.. we don’t just need players at GK and CB we need absolute TOP as proven as possible players. Players like we’ve been linked with like Raya, N’dicka, Laporte etc.

Does anyone really believe Ange is the kind of manager any of them will take seriously? Be honest, cause I really don’t

Celtic fans currently planning a “Levy out” protest for Saturday.

I hope they're better at it than we are.

Like a few have said before, I keep getting prospective managers sold to me by the better posters on this board.

I was all in on JN, then AS, even flirted with the idea of LE over the last day or two. The worry for me with Ange is if his style of football will translate well to the Premier League. What I will say though is he's won wherever he's been and you can't really do any better than that.

The only other thing I can say is I'd play for the c***.

His rhetoric is as good as any I've seen and coupled with a game plan and a bit of tactical nous can go a long way at any level of football. We may deride our own players but a lot of them were very good for other clubs and that's why we bought them. A lot of them are current internationals or have been prior to getting involved with the shit show of tactics that has been our club over the last few seasons. If he can galvanise them and give them a bit of confidence then we might see those players again.

Would he be my first choice? No.
Does he have the "pedigree" we want? Perhaps not.

But if he takes the job I will back him and hopefully enjoy watching Spurs again.

This is 100% Scott Munn getting his mate a job.
Cannot believe the club is making this kind of a punt.
His body of work is nowhere near the level required to meet the litmus test.
Big Ange is no doubt biting Levy's hand off at the chance to take the role.
He's literally skipping 5 years of career progression.
Aussie League to K League to SPL.
Managing a premier league big 6 club as his next job is insane.
He should be earning his stripes in the championship or lower premier league team.
Show he can do it in a highly competitive league.

For the record, Neil Lennon won 5 trophies in 2 seasons and averaged 70% win rate when he took over from Rodgers...
Nothing against Ange, and if he does come I hope we absolutely luck out. But this is not the correct managerial choice for Spurs.
I understand why you feel this way but in reality none of us have a clue if this will work or not. I remember people being up in arms when Poch was bought into replace Adkins at Southampton.

Sorry just to be clear, your concern is about David Raya, who literally currently plays for a manager best known for his work at Denmark U-17 and Brøndby?

It's amazing how many people on SC have mates who are Celtic fans. Not only that, but all these 'mates' have heard the same thing. And not only that and that, but all of you have spoken to each individual mate within a few hours of each other. The sequence of coincidences is astounding. I reckon it's the same guy, Tammy McTwitter.

My concern is about players of a certain calibre like Raya currently (when Brentford signed him he wasn’t at this level) who will be attracting interest from clubs of at least our stature with far more proven managers. When you add a little more context, my point becomes pretty clear. We won’t be competing for those players with Ange as manager

Considering the amount of time some people are spending in this thread I think the idea that they've got any mates at all is a bit far-fetched

Joses Roma finished 6th (wouldve been 7th if not for juves point deduction and back in the conference league) and play terrible football. After the game yesterday he said he deserves better and is tired of being the guy who has to make excuses/talk about losing (words to that effect).

Whether he got "Levyd" or not, that is his who he is and im glad we got shot of him, albeit 1 week too early.
He also won a trophy last season.....

I see what you’re trying to suggest here, but personally I don’t think there is any evidence whatsoever to support it.
