He's already kicked the shit out of Gary Lineker. Marked him out of the game back in 1992 when we played Feyenoord in the Cup Winners Cup QF

Before later turning out for Wolves when still in the old Div 1 for a couple of seasons. My dad is a Wolves fan so I used to watch them. De Wolf at the back and Bull upfront.

Everything is bloody slow.

Manager Shortlisting 1 months, DoF sacking 2 months, DoF candidates short listing 2 months, DoF announcement, New Manager shortlisting for 2 months after new DoF takes over....then managerial interview first round 1 month, then manager interview final and then appoint the wrong manager before season....

Do I want him absolutely not. He's about 10th/12th on my list. But at least now if there's a repeat of the 2021 circus we're going to end up with Mason and not Nuno or his equivalent.

Fully expecting an appointment to be made late June.

I 100% trust Levy.......... to fuck up !

I think this is just too cynical. Yes, he's a serial offender, delusional, has made so many managerial cock-ups it makes a stopped clock look accurate, makes short-term decisions, with little or no 'joined-up' thinking. But I really believe that this time...it'll be different.....

I wonder if it would take as long to make a decision if it was to do with entertainment or Go Karts etc think not.
All about priority to Levy/ENIC and football is very last.
Commercial matters definitely at the forefront of their mind - for going from what we’ve heard about the composition of the board (economists etc) THFC is a well performing real estate investment.

But then it begs the question how this board made up of undeniably keen business minds still hasn’t tied up a lucrative naming rights deal for the stadium.

The way the club does business on and off the pitch seems almost erratic. That the club has remained a commercial success is certainly a credit to the board in a non-football sense. But there are still massive failings even in the way that side of the club has been run that would be enough for heads to roll anywhere else, let alone the failings in the running in the football side of things.

Lol the article in the athletic on slot today really sums up why levy wants him so bad.

Arne Slot now at 7/2, with Brendan Rodgers and the rest of the pack 8/1. Really hope we can see us honing in on Slot and DOF before the Brentford game. Slot for me has to be the one based on current situation we find ourselves in.
Oh god please not Rodgers. I just know Daniel will do it to piss me off more 🤣

What's that shinny silver thing Slot is holding?
That’s his special big plate. He’s worked out that if you take your own plate to the all you can eat breakfast (at the Rotterdam Linton Travel Tavern where he lives) then you can pretty much have as much food as you want.

If we really wanted Slot I just have that feeling it would be done by now, if not official.

Especially now that Nagelsmann is not happening, and Mason probably showed the job might be too big for him at Villa. I can't see Levy splashing out for De Zerbi or Amorim even if they wanted the job. So don't even see who that leaves apart from Frank, Postecoglou and possibly Cooper.

My prediction is that we will get Slot eventually. He'll initially do well with a young squad under Levy's dogmatic constraints then when he's squeezed every last drop out of the lemon and needs £150-200m on experienced players he won't get it and he won't end up lasting much longer.

Ignoring the fact that Feyenoord were in a title race and only just won the league yesterday.
If it was made official he was coming to us it could’ve derailed that and would’ve been completely unprofessional.

Thomas Frank sees his name linked with Spurs and picks up the phone:

"Hey Roberto, what do I do again to get that Daniel geezer to stop phoning me?"
