Lolz. Heard from a source I can't vouch for 🤣
So in other words if it's wrong it ain't his fault, and if it's right he takes the credit for being well connected.

I’d take Kompany. Burnley play like Man City but in the Championship. Their high press and buildup is very impressive. Coaching revelation this season.

I haven't seen them but what I would like about this is he has always been a leader and with that his still quite close to the players age I would imagine he could get them onside considering the authoritative super coaches they don't seem to have enjoyed working under

Not my first choice but like I keep saying there are so many good options out there I'd be happy with loads and he is one.

He's a sky sports presenter (maybe former I never watch) and a massive spurs fan, his podcast with Dan Kilpatrick is pretty good

He says himself he can't verify the source but he is no WUM.
Yep genuinely don't think he's ever posted a rumour before (that I can remember anyway). So bit weird to post one now and potentially get vilified for it. In saying that though, if he doesn't get info regularly, he could not be able to tell what's a 'good' rumour and what isn't. So big old pinches needed.

Tbh if so I’d be absolutely delighted with that.

Some will point to a lack of experience with Kompany but the job he’s done with Burnley has been phenomenal transforming the way they play and absolutely dominating the league, he will have also learnt a ton from Pep and other managers he’s played under during his illustrious career.

He ticks many boxes 📦:
-PL experience
-Young project type manager
-Attractive attacking possession based style of football
- Very positive and motivational uplifting character which is exactly what the club needs

For me it wouldn’t be his lack of managerial experience that would be a concern but more if he’d use us as a stepping stone to then take over from Pep at City.

Other than that there are far more positives than negatives if we did go for Kompany and it would be a very refreshing choice tbh given our last 3 manager hires, it would show that the club have read the room and are taking steps in the right direction.

🤞

Oh also imagine if he brought in Super Jan to his coaching staff 🥹

Wouldn't be disappointed if we went for Kompany. Would personally prefer a manager in his mould to some of the bigger, more established names like Enrique or Poch.

Think I'd still prefer Slot if we're taking a punt on an upcoming manager, though. Or Nagelsmann if there's any chance we can get him.

I would certainly not be against Poch coming back but fuck me, that is a depressing couple above him.

That's like saying Prince George should be the King immediately because he enunciated Worcestershire properly
Is it though?

Rodgers and Kompany both good options, especially Kompany.

Why are they ‘depressing’ options.

I don’t particularly want Rodgers but he’s a far better fit than any of our last 3 managers have even and Kompany even more so.
