I never said he was ready for the job, I just objected to you calling him shit. That he is certainly not.

Er, forgive me, team top of the league, likely to win it?! Their budget is no bigger than ours. Their board had a plan, backed him through 8th, ,8th and 5th, bought players that suited his style and look at how they’ve been rewarded. We won’t have a ridiculous budget but we spend enough that if we got it right player wise with the right coach we could be very competitive.
Arsenal have spent a lot under Arteta and all without any UCL money. I think their wage bill is about the same as ours but will over take it when Saka Martinelli and Saliba all triple their money.

The whole sticking with him when they finished 8th is also a lot easier to do in the Covid season when there were no fans at the matches booing them off at half and full time. My arsenal supporting friends agree he wouldnt have survived had there been fans present.

I’d say someone with really zero experience in a big league let alone the English league isn’t someone I want to even test

If we exhaust all our options once again, and appoint Ange as our 7th/8th Nuno-choice. It'll be lightyears better for us than last time round. Take some comfort in that.

This is what Tottenham does to me…

- We wait for Nagelsmann to make a decision to join in the summer
- Gallardo joins PSG
- Poch joins Madrid
- Nagelsmann is about to sign for us but Chelsea sack Potter and Chelsea weigh in and sign him (We may get another letter)
- Ears prick up and realise Potter is now free and Potter says he needs time off
- De Zerbi rejects us as clearly aware he wasn’t first choice
- We then spend remainder of the summer trying to negotiate Amorims £15m clause and fail

- We end up hiring Mason and spin it that it was always our intention, one of our own, amazing future ahead etc

Hope I’m wrong but something like the above is going to play out, good things don’t happen to us.
Why do we have these endless Nostradamus posts? Don't worry about stuff that hasn't happened, life's hard enough

Can't blame him if he doesn't want to jump back into work straight away.

I dont think anyone can. I can however blame the club who obviously have known for some time that Conte wasnt staying beyond this season and seem more surprised by it then everyone on this forum.

I would actually love us to go for Slot or Ange. Both are exactly what we need, not another big ego who will think he’s too good for us in no time

Couldn’t give a hoot if that meant Kane left. Give them the £100m and start building something

Show me the process
Yeah im really not fussed anymore will be same outcome ultimately. Ange would def be an interesting appointment to be honest.

This, I didn’t expect him to want it before the summer. What I would expect is us to try and tie him down to a deal asap.
And I can't blame him if he wants to keep his options open. That's his prerogative and his right. We can only sell him the club and the project with a summer start date. If he wants to assess his options then fair enough, because it seems like there will be a few big clubs looking.

I feel Levy is just trying to look busy with all the names linked to show he cares.

Just give me some less-celebrated project managers. I have given up on the big names. When do we ever have nice things? Every big club will jump in front of the queue for them.

Was not meant to be taken serious and was a light hearted joking post. However, it’s hardly Nostradamus and against the realms of possibility when something along these lines has happened before. But ok, thread police I will refrain for the future 👍🏼

Pretty sure Bild Sport are the shit tabloid paper, and Bild is the reliable one. Someone may correct me, but think safe to ignore this report
BILD Sport is just the Sport section of the standard BILD "news". It's like if the Sun newspaper decided to release a publication called SUN Sport. Not to say they don't get things right.
