He'd have to do very well for that I think. If he turns things around, the players start performing and they get CL and everything around him and the club is positive then maybe. Thanks - do folk think it’s that likely that Solskjaer will get it permanently?
Well, at least it has stopped the ‘Poch to Real Madrid’ rumours
Surprised Simeone is so high. Don't get me wrong, he's obviously a good manager, but one of the reasons cited for getting rid of Mourinho was that he didn't play expansive enough football in the Utd tradition or whatever so bringing in a manager like Simeone makes no sense to me.
I put a fiver on him at 20/1 when Jose was first sacked. When the summer comes around he'll only have a year left on his deal with Athletico and no matter what you say about the style of football he plays, he's a winner.
I'm not slagging him off at all, I think he's great. Like I say though I'm just surprised they're looking at him given that the style of football was one of the chief complaints when Mourinho was in charge so the suggestion was that they'd look for someone who played a more attractive style.
Pretty good article about the so-called "attractive style" of football that Man U supposedly has always played.

Can't believe that Allegri has hardly been mentioned, good enough to be mentioned in the same breath as Arsenal last season but not for the mighty Manchester United ... (I haven't looked at the odds mind you)
