Next Captain?

Ange could be smart here - pull Biss, Maddison, Romero and Son into a mtg. Give them a big speech about needing leaders, inspiring colleagues, setting standards etc. Tell them each one of them could be official captain they are that important to drive forward. But ultimately i have to name one, and then name them in that meeting. Create a bond there and then, make them a strong unit within the wider unit.

Who that is, i would be happy with any of them. To choose one, I would go Biss.

I think the fact that the club has yet to name the new captain & do promotion around it just another misstep in a whole line of them. It lets the sour taste & infuriated anger toward them linger. It’s been 6 hours. What are you doing? Granted the anger isnt going to go away soon but like at least release something to give the fans something to be a little cheery over? Deathly afraid to promote the new kit on socials so they quietly release it. And now just letting this anger foment more.

Ange said he knows who his captain is, so it's not like they're pulling a name out of a raffle at 13:55 tomorrow afternoon. Chill out and it will be announced when it needs to be.

As long as Captain doesn’t mean guaranteed starter/undroppable. Had enough of that with Hugo over the last couple of years. An on-form Sonny is a reasonable choice though.

Pretty much as expected. Sonny the only real logical choice. I think had Maddison been here a season he'd of got the nod, but happy he's in there as a vice captain. Hopefully it helps Romero calm down a bit too with the added responsibility of being a leader in the group.
