When he said ‘not prepared to fight’ I think Stellini meant ‘not willing to’ rather than not having had preparation.

0-5 after about 20mins is absolutely disgusting

This goes way way way way back and always comes back to 1 man

Feel sorry for all the poor sods that shlapped all the way up to Geordie land

ST will be queuing round the block to renew after that

Another incredibly bad decision from Danny boy to let Stellini/Mason run this show until the end of the season

Yeah, like sacking the most successful cup manager in 30 years 3 days before a cup final. Hasn’t a baldy.

Why are a lot of you taking the piss out of Danny Rose? Cos he’s wearing a hat, and a nice jacket??? I bet he looked better dressed than 99% of the people in that ground. Grow up, ffs. I’m actually ashamed of this club right now.

All this talk about how much better than us Newcastle were yet we drew the last 70 minutes. Think about it, perhaps if we'd gone with that formation from the start it might have been a different story.

Assuming that's playing next to Dembele in midfield. To be fair, even Winks would look half decent playing next to Dembele.
The truth is he never did look half decent playing next to Dembele. He was a very poor CM.

I think the difference is (at least for me) the teams of the 90s/00s were shit but were playing at their level. This team is playing well below its ability. This team shouldn't be getting outplayed by a visiting Bournemouth and a Sean Dyche-led Everton. If the players don't give a shit it's hard for me to give a shit about them.
I think the players do give a shit. But they are shit scared and have lost faith in each other.
Take the first goal. Joelinton was allowed to walk into our box from the left to get it onto his shooting leg. Everyone was backing off. Normally you would have someone engage and another to cover.

That result was in the post for most of this season. And there may be more to come. This is a rudderless club without leadership on the field. Lloris is gone to pasture and was never a decent leader in the first place. Changing things up for Newcastle away was an 'interesting' choice.

Levy said in that Cambridge Q&A that coaches on the continent get 2 year contracts. It was never clear what he meant by that, but it seemed to be suggesting English footy is too obsessed with managers and this 2yr coach model could be better. That's what we're up against here. A suit who thinks you can compile a bunch on names, call that team building, and let the suits lead.

And people turn their noses up at Poch :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Leeds away is the only game I think we might get a result. Other than that I think we will lose or maybe scrape a draw in 2 games.
Yea, we’ll beat Leeds thus relegating them and our fans will get a battering from the pissed off Leeds fans after the game.

The Porro stuff is funny alright. Most knew nothing of him, but as soon as there was a clamor around him and a 40 million price tag, the hive mind went mad for him. It does appear he isn't much of a full back. Doesn't look like much of a defender at all.

Hopefully the new season will be more organized and he wont be off on loan in January. But it would seem we need a new manager that wants to play with 3 centre halves, or we'll have just tossed that transfer into the wind as well.

No it's not. Wouldn't save the season of course but I'd much rather the player assessment started now and not another clean slate summer. It might give the fans a lift as well.
Levy binned off the rest of the season when there was still things to play for. It's laughable that he'd act now that things are hopeless for this campaign. And a new manager might've wanted to join when there was a chance to make a difference and achieve something. Why join now when you'd only be associated with this shitshow instead of having time to lead a reset.
