Apparently so.So they will be lifted into place? If they attach the tension cables first at ground level and raise the lot in one go. Is that what that is?

Would be spursy if that changed this winter though. We have not had proper heavy snow in North London for almost 4 years.
They're part of the system that will hoist up the cables. They won't remain.Apparently so.
If anything, it’s beneficial that you can move it out in adverse conditionsWorth remembering that the pitch will stay in situ for most of the time so there will effectively be no join for most of the time.
Indeed, I suspect it will get moved more often than one might assume thanks to weather etc.If anything, it’s beneficial that you can move it out in adverse conditions
Have you never seen an episode of Grand Designs? We are due the worst winter in recent memoryWe have not had proper heavy snow in North London for almost 4 years.
What we need is to get our 'moles' to find out more. Shallow burrowing ones though. If anything, it’s beneficial that you can move it out in adverse conditions
We have to do as much as possible in outer constructions before December.Once the winter starts, the possible snow & holiday season would slow things down drastically.
South Stand steel construction is really deceptive looking. Its almost like nothing happening yet from aerial pics, but more focussed pics shows the level of work thats already done. Also can, clearly make out, where the 3 split retractable pitch will slide in..
it's worth looking at the weekly time lapse there's a section on that showing ground work for the steel structure, once that is ready the next phase of framework will soon go up.Arunspurs, any chance you could share pics if possible? as you suggest it has been looking like nothing much has happened on the south stand, i have always assumed much has been going on that the web cams do not make obvious but if you have any evidence of progress I would love to see it!
thanks!
