Watched "the debate" on sky with Ray Parlour and Harry Kewell .
When the emirates was opened it was deemed a game changer and I remember how gushing in praise of the new stadium Parlour was.
These two last night said that playing at the new stadium would not make one iota of difference and will just be like any other ground.
Talk about envy and jealousy because even if you believed what they were saying you would say things in praise of the new set up out of trying to be fair and even handed. All I can say if people come to our new place expecting it to be a normal match experience then I believe they will be in for a shock because in my eyes this place will be monumental but if by chance it turns out to be just like any other ground I will be shocked not to say devestated .

Be interesting to see how long the queues take at WHL & NP stations after the first full capacity game . It might make the Wembley complaints of getting away after the game pale into insignificance. I stayed to the very end for the Arsenal game , walked to Wembley Stadium Stn and was on a train within 15 minutes of the end of the game , not bad with a crowd of 81000.

Personally I want Palace first

2 reasons:
1. We get a week break before CL semi
2. Less demand if a midweek fixture so more chance of getting a ticket

Either way it doesn't really matter now which is great news

Less demand for midweek? If it’s the first game we could probably sell it twice over for all the people who want to say ‘I was there’. That said, half the people here seem to have arranged other things in other countries. Who does that during a football season, honestly...?

@Dougal...you know you live in Ireland right. o_O  :ROFLMAO: (y)

COME ON MILLWALL! Typical that both test events and potentially the first game could be whilst I'm in the States

I'll be cheering on Millwall next weekend so that the first game isn't until I'm home :nailbiting:
I do think Millwall have a pretty good chance of putting Brighton out, actually....

You're right there. I live in North Enfield and I'll be cycling to the first game. WHL station will be a nightmare until the improvements are finished.
