So can someone please put my mind at ease and explain or direct me to an explanation on what do they pour concrete on.

Say they're on the second floor of a building but there is no floor yet as the concrete has not been poured, what do they pour the concrete on?

Have you ever seen Bake Off?

A bit like giant baking trays called shuttering.

Wooden shuttering I believe but someone more knowledgeable will no doubt explain how.

You've led a sheltered life lol.
They use sky hooks to hang steel grids on and pour it in ;)

Cheers much appreciated, it's always bugged me. I need one of those school trips to a construction site... How do they measure angles, it will be funny when they knock down WHL and realise they fucked up the measurements where the stand for the new stadium is gonna be.

Now, where do babies come from?
