You can rate them too.
I narrowly opted for Luka but there were so many positives from this game.
I didn't go for king it looked like he didn't have to muh to do but that may be because hedoes it so well.
The only negativewas thedecline in the goalscoring threat of Carragher- he's got to score against9 men.

Adebayor no question. Far superior player to Suarez who everyone raves about - Adebayor has it all imo

Modric Parker or Adebayor. Went with Modric as he was everywhere and kept us ticking over

Can't believe I am the only vote for Defoe. I have never seen him work so hard. Ade has rubbed off on him already.

Is this the ratings thread? If so...

Friedel - 6 - literally nothing to do.
BAE - 8
King - 8
Kaboul - 8
Walker - 8
Bale - 8
Modric - 9
Parker - 8.5
Krankie/vdV - 7
Adebayor - 8.5
Defoe - 8

Modric was outstanding. Parker was immense. Adebayor was awesome.

Defoe kept on going and scored the all important second goal. King and Kaboul were brilliant in defence. Walker had his best game for us. BAE made me laugh playing CM. Bale had his best game this season.

Andy Carroll is shit.

It's hard to say ade is better than suarez as if they'd swapped places then ade would appear awful also

Friedel 6.5 - not tested that much.
Walker 7.5 - should manage assist in 1st half, but played well both attacking and def.
Kaboul 7.5 - did well
King 7.5 - same to Kaboul
BAE 8 - very good, turning to one of my favourite players !
Parker 8 - worked so hard, picked up the balls and pass the ball around.
Modric 9 - super strike, did everything right, are you watching Chelsea mate ?
Bale 8 - even thought his final ball could be a bit better, as well as his two free-kicks, but caused Skertel upsets and good effort during the whole 90 mins with his energy.
Defoe 7.5 - did his job, took his well very well, nice to score 2 from 2 Jermaine.
Adebayor 9 - should score other two at least, but repaid that with top class display in their half.

VDV 7 - worked hard, but i can see us playing in 1st half better than 2nd even thought Liverpool were down to nine men in 2nd half, I'm still sure Niko should be ahead of him in picking order.

not enough time for Gio and Bassong.

Fans were great.

Redknapp deserves top mark.

Today proved, once we have the right players in the right positions, how good we actually are. The defence were composed, strong and confident. Midfield were busy, available and creative and the forwards were lively, moving and clinical.

Can't compare the two, they are different type of players.
I'd say Ade fit us much better than Suarez would,
and that to be fair they'd be excellent together as a duo.

it all stems from Ledders, therefore I picked him MotM. Understated with all the goals is another clean sheet, so riedel gets a nod too...

friedel - 7 (no shakey moments)
walker - 8
kaboul - 7.5
king - 9 (it all starts with the true captain)
BAE - 8
kranky - 7
bale - 7
parker - 8
modric - 9 (beautiful player)
defoe - 6.5 (was quite wasteful, but it did not cost Spurs today)
adebayor - 8

VDV - 6 (not sure why he was subed in for kranky)
GDS - N/A
bassong - N/A

COYS!!

Modric was unreal, signing of the summer (or non signing) keeping him.

This...even though he broke my heart, the biatch

Was close with Adebayor, though, gave him it last week.

Modric was truly back to 'normal' today, always looking for the ball, linking play up, changing directions in a split second, spotting team splitting passes and playing them to perfection...and he even scored :eek:mg:

Plus, he had a smile on his face in a Spurs shirt, again.

I thought Kaboul and Walker were excellent. Parker and Modric good in midfield and Kranky good before coming off. Defoe's goal and shot covered up some poor play, although his closing down was excellent. While Adebayor scored 2 goals I didn't understand why he kept coming out to LW/LB, did anybody else figure that out.

Always said Liverpool had bought poorly and today proved it.

I'll add my ratings.
Friedel I'm tempted to do a N/A but I'll give 7
Walker 7
King 8
Kaboul 7.5
BAE 8
Kranjar 7 I thought he worked well with Wa9lker
Modric 9 he's discovered how to shoot!
Parker 8.5 looks like he's been playing for Spurs for years
Bale 7- I've minused him for thefree-kicks
Defoe 8 crucial second goal, on thisshowing I'd rather have him than Saurez
Adebayor 8.5 so that's what a real striker does.
VDV -7 slighlty out of position
Other subs not really enough time but interesting to see that Harry gave them game time.
A great team performance I was slightly fearful when they wentdown to 10 men because of our recent history but if anyone says it was only against 9 men they got reduced to 9 because of good play by us.
