Have to disagree on that one, thought he was just too eager to prove himself that he forgot about his manners momentarily. Once lost a tooth after being kicked in the face and played on another 30 minutes til halftime - that impressed me.

Surprised by no Berbatov mentions. Personally I feel Berba behaved worse than Modric did.

How? Modric was tapped up by one of our major rivals and bought into it: Insisting he be sold straight away. Never mind how much he 'loved the club' in the past. Berbatov was never really happy here.

I don't hate players for leaving the club, that would only happen if they left in a way like Campbell did. Modric and Berbatov (last summer) are both players I'd have back here, even though they forced their moves in the end, they didn't lie about it to the fans and they gave us some great memories.

I have more respect for Ghaly than the 'fans' who booed until Harry changed his mind about bringing him on as a sub.

why Cundy?

Hasn't one good word to say about us, and the way he goes on and on about Chelsea all the time annoys me

As for the other last players I don't hate any of them, even Campbell.

I don't respect Campbell and dislike what he did to us but hate is too strong a word

And how can anyone hate Jenas or Rebrov, hardly their fault one is average at best and the other either not played or played out of position.

I hate what Campbell did and the way he did it, but I don't hate him. I laughed at his epic failure in the CL final, loved the hostile reception he got when he came back to WHL the first time and laughed like a drain as he came across like someone who was tripping badly on MOTD but still had to talk about football anyway.

Otherwise, they're just Spurs players, some better/worse than others. Never got the whole scapegoat thing.

Graham Roberts may court controversy now for some attention, but his equaliser at WHL in the UEFA cup final will stay in my mind (until I lose it). Almost a legend as far as I'm concerned.

What? Modric wanted to leave but agreed to stay on an extra year, and regardless of how annoying it was he still gave 100% that season. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending him, and I know he supposedly refused to train but Berbatov was worse. As soon as there was any sort of definitive interest from another team he refused to play and then when made to put in absolutely no effort at all. Both bad but Berba was worse imo

hate IS a strong word, which is why I never used it in the thread.

edit : I'm such a bell-end, just noticed the title of my own thread....

Oh I dunno, Harry you just have to ride with but I thought Jamie, when fit, was a fantastic player to watch! Great vision, half decent engine and a great eye for goal!

Don't hate the players but here's my most unlikeable since 1991:

GK - Ian Walker - had ability but didn't train hard enough to make the most of it
RB - Pat Van Den Hauwe - no real reasoon, just remember seeing him cheat once as a kid and thought he was a dick for doing it.
LB - Tarrico - dirty cheat. Never attempted to get the ball, just took the player
CB - Sol - don't need to explain
CB - Mabizela - took a pay packet but no work ethic
Mid - Michael Brown - dirty cheat
Mid - Sherwood - just didn't like him as a player
Mid - Nicola Berti - extremely lazy
Mid - Bentley - took a large pay packet but never tried to make a football career at Spurs
Str - Iversen - No real effort
Str - Dos Santos - same as last 2 players
