According to Goal it's from Sky sports. However Sky sports doesn't mention it.

Saw the interview earlier.

Got to be careful with the interpretation there so I'd wouldn't pay too much attention to those quotes. Cleverly worded if you ask me.

Changed his mind last week in regarding to what? That he wanted to stay at Southampton...or that he decided he would make himself available to play at Liverpool? The fact he doesn't qualify that leads me to believe its definitely the latter.

There's a world of difference between the two. To me all that's saying is he's decided to be professional about things.

Saints fans seems to think that these comments have ended the whole thing...no idea why lol

Yep the more I think about it...those comments are definitely in the context of him deciding to play again for them in the interim...not that he's changed his mind about wanting to leave Southampton.

Koeman says he wants to play for them...and said he changed his mind...implying he wasn't going to make himself available to play.

They've been cute with those comments but they're not fooling me with them. Why the hell would MS change his mind about wanting to leave? Its clearly to do with just deciding to be professional until he gets his move.

MS is a pro and will play but it depends how long is his contract as to the end game.

If we get him, it will be deadline day and only if he forces it. If he doesn't, they won't sell and, frankly, it doesn't look to me like he is putting too much of a fight up anymore. Hope I'm misreading the situation

Wouldn't be a bad option for them. Whilst not as good as Schneiderlin is a similar type of player. Gets stuck in and can sit back and defend whilst also liking to make the odd bomb forward.

I think we all agree we need additions in key places though. Against a better team than West Ham we would be in trouble. Townsend, Dawson, Sandro, Vlad aren't 1st XI so they're seemed as expendable if we can get improvements (Depay, MM). Maybe you are right? I personally don't mind what you are saying, but I didn't have the impression that that's what most Spurs-fans think.

Totally agree with this - God only knows what we'll do without another CB, and like you say, I'd like a new striker

Our CMs look OK IMO. They need to learn a new system, but by and large they'll be OK
