cant access the other Modric thread for some reason so can a mod plese put this is there....im not trying to start a new thread just thought this info was important to the modric debate...

for all those saying Luka has "gone missing" in games this season or "heads not been right" this season please take note!!!!!

Luka Modric has....

attempted more passes this season than last
completed more passes this season than last
has more assists this season than last
& has scored more goals this season than last
whilst making less appearances!!!!!!!!

so....stop with this rubbish about his head not being right etc etc...he is our best player & selling him would only strengthen a direct competitor, its ridiculous!

That's all well and good, but it would appear he see's his future elsewhere and our only hope is that this is overseas and at £40m+

I wouldn't say his heads not looked right, but he has looked knackered (perhaps mentally) towards the end of both seasons. He needed to be rested occasionally just like the others. He also seems more annoyed with other players than before - but this is probably because he is a senior player now.

I'd sell him for the £40m now. He is class, but he is replaceable with shrewd management.

Its only Messi who isnt

Agree with this, very good player but if da got doesn't wanna play for us then see u later.

We're a great club, if players don't wanna play for us then just sell to the highest bidder and get players in that do wanna play for us.

I can't understand y as fans we get so emotionally attached to players when all they're bothered about is how many thousands they're gonna make each week.

Every player we have can be replaced if they're not fully committed.

My thoughts exactly. I find it hard to understand the way so many seems to want to convince themselves Modric is no longer good and we will be fine to sell him. We should try our very best to keep him. Levy intends to do just that and I admire him for it. I personally think Modric is a good professioal unlike berbatov and I definitely want to see us hold on to him.

So do you think Redknapp is shrewd enough to replace Modric? Who do you think are possible replacement for Modric which we have more than a realistic chance of signing?

I would take Dembele and Sahin for Modric and I think we could do those deals. Both are younger than Modric and could become just as good or better imo.

The other thread was closed because there is a Modric thread in the transfer rumours forum.
