Amazing how so many sportsmen could have made it at another sport....i'd just like to be 'good' at one!
Being in sports requires a certain awareness and edge mentally and not just physically. It makes sense that a lot of footballers would be good at other sports and vice versa. Messi's awareness and movement would be fantastic in many other sports, providing his physicality matched up to them too.

It is quite common. Lineker is the perfect example. Apparently he could of made it as a cricketer, has scored a century break in snooker and is a top golfer too. Makes ya sick, doesn't it?
