Once again the headline does not match the quotes.
He talks of the europa being more interesting than before with the CL place, and that is fair enough.
If it is going to interfere with a genuine challenge to the top 4 places, then he needs to think again.
I like the europa as it gives us a chance to see the fringe players and keep a bigger squad happier.
I don't know how I'd feel if we were struggling to make 6th 7th place to qualify again and Pooch started to prioritise the EL on the remote chance we'd win it.
Not only would we most likely lose our EL qualification place but also a £1.2m merit payment for each league place we dropped.
