I'd imagine if the deal were to happen, it would be something similar to how we signed Lo Celso from Betis. Betis signed him for in around 20 mil after his loan move came to an end and immediately sold to us. We helped them structure the deal in their favour by giving them a bigger loan fee and option to sign at a higher price, so PSG lost out on a lot of sell on - no biggy for PSG I suppose.

What helps even more is that Paratici would have been involved in the deal and will know the structure inside out e.g., Atalanta's buy out price as well as the terms and conditions of the original deal.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us get him in on loan if Atalanta signed him on a perm with a big loan fee and moderate buy out clause.

Weird theory I have, but I’ve noticed that there’s been like 10 players that we’ve been linked to that the media are all referring to individually as our ‘dream signing’ ‘number 1 target’ or ‘ultimate goal’.

With what we now know about Paratici targeting a load of players, it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s a tactic of his to leak all these links to the media to play all of our targets against eachother and making them each feel like they’re the special one and then make them worry that someone else is the real target.

Would be a very clever psychological way of getting players to want to play for us by making them want to prove themselves as the real top target out of all the players linked.

FYI he’s homegrown because he played for United’s youth teams. Could be a player Paratici knows is affordable and a good option
