Must of watched a different game, he put in a real shift pressing and closing off angles of play..he did well as did PEH..
we must of, skipp looked lost to me, I think if mctominay buried that last chance the tone would of been different, he did nothing bar one good ball

Shout out to Hojbjerg who, whilst he’s seeking a move away, put in a brilliant performance. Skipp as well. The midfield were brilliant despite the pre game concerns.
Love the positivity and yes huge credit to PEH especially who I thought was fantastic tbh, I wouldn’t say Skipp was ‘brilliant’ but he was solid and for himself and his level he performed as well as he can do.

That all being said if we’d had one or 2 of our 1st choice CM instead of them or even Lo Celso, I think we’d have won.

Do think man u were there for taking and would have been a big 3 points but we were dead on feet after 70 mins so taking all injuries, tiredness etc into account a draw is a decent result. Nice rest now for a few of them which is well needed.

Micky on Sky Sports says it's just cramp. Thank fuck for that, it was so good to have our first choice back 4 back together again.

If we had even 2 options on the bench today I think we could have won that. That's how depleted we are

Very lucky Mctomany did not score as that would have been Radu's fault, leaving him and runs into the back of Romero there leaving Udogie with 2 men

All in all, a draw at Old Trafford can't be sniffed at, but it does a feel bit like 2 points dropped.

Johnson just not at it today, which is a shame because I thought everyone else put in a 8/10 performance.
He was played in behind so many times today and then fluffed the cross, didn't even seem like he got his head up most of the time.

Looks short on confidence and I think perhaps he knew he was the 'weak link' today, which then made it worse as game progressed.

I know we were short of options off the bench but I thought Porro had a cracker, and we could've brought Royal on for Johnson in the 2nd half, allowing him to push forward and fizz a few crosses in to Richy.

Anyway, 1 point away at Man U, decent minutes for the returning players, Richy still scoring and no further injuries - can't complain.

We only needed one more player to have won that, either Sonny, Madders or Deki would have done the trick .
Without having to trawl through pages & pages, why was Sess not on the bench ?
Even a GLC might have been enough. Unfortunately even our backups are now injured.

Yanited should be embarrassed tbh.

Very similar to away Goons. 2-2, behind twice, better side, feels annoying as probably should’ve won it.

Johnson absolutely shocking
Rubbish.

He didn't have a great game for sure but there are plenty of other words you can use, for example, dreadful, awful or poor.

'Shocking' isn't the word. At all. Unless of course he's been so brilliant recently that today's performance was disgustingly bad in contrast.

Or are you suggesting you sat there, numb in disbelief and someone had to slap you across the chops to liven you up?

Feels like a bit of a missed opportunity, but we really didn't create much after we got the equaliser so a draw is probably a fair result. I think we'd have won if we'd had Kulu.

OK, yeh probably could have won it with Son in a couple of those scoring positions but still important not to lose games like this. Hopefully now we start recovering injured and missing players and putting games beyond teams like Man Utd.

But the point is they weren't god awful and didn't cost us the game, as many would have you believe 2 hours ago.
No they didn't cost us any goals and they didn't get overrun or lose the midfield battle.

But I think it's a game we win if we had alternative options on the pitch.

Maybe I'm being too harsh, but for me we win that game if even one of Sarr, Bissouma or Madders is playing.
