Brennan Johnson is garbage.

I don’t think he’s garbage I just think he isn’t ready to be a starter for a top 4 team yet. He should be a sub we bring on to stretch tired teams. Way too soon to write him off imo.

I would love to be wrong but it feels like we bought Johnson more because he fits the profile. Young, athletic and most importantly English. But I don't really know what he excels at. Doesn't seem to have a strength except being pacey.

I’m glad Johnson has time on his side, and I’m not trying to get on his back, but I haven’t seen a glimpse of what it is he brings yet. I’m more than happy to be the person that makes this post, then scores or assists and everyone points and laughs etc.

He just seems so passive, shy and a bit scared. Perhaps he questions himself, but he’s quick yet never really seems to take his man on, final ball is really hit and miss, seems to hop out the way of tackles a lot too.

Hopefully a season of Anges confidence boosting gets him showing something. Do appreciate he’s young and it’s his first season here.

I agree with this but we are also committing the cardinal sin of playing the ball to his feet every time.

The smart play when you have someone who is lightening quick is to put the balls into the channels for them to run onto to really stretch the opposition. I’m certain we would have more success with him if we did that more
