Having been booked twice in this season's competition previously, the 48th minute yellow card received by the South Korean took his tally to three for the tournament, triggering a one-game ban.
All yellow cards are now wiped after the quarter-finals, but only for those who didn't already have two to their name coming into this stage of the tournament. A third was always going to trigger a suspension.
Heung-Min Son informed on German TV that he’s out suspended for the semi-final first leg. Reaction: “I didn’t know!”

Ah, thanks for the clarification. Bummer though...

Why didn't any commentator have a cup of man the fxck up and mention that the ball actually hit laportes hand before it went in ?
I'm more annoyed that they fail to mention that it doesn't matter if it his his arm or not. His arm was into his body and should never be considered for handball anyway. If it doesn't hit his arm it hits his body and therefore the arm did not have an impact on the direction of the ball. If they start calling those handball then it really is ridiculous.

Just had a flick through from page 108 for ten pages. Well worth another read when you know what’s coming. All the emotions of being a spurs fan right there.

I just had a read from page 70 or so and the certainty of defeat in so many posts was mind blowing. Yes we all are snake bitten when it comes to Spursy but hopefully this result confirms we are in a new era. Bask in the glory and always keep a smidgen of belief when it comes to this team.

Its 57 years too late but if VAR had been there in '62 against Benfica we'd have been through to the final.
God bless Jimmy Greaves.
PS Yes I'm drunk.
PPS thats 1962 not 1862 for you young 'uns.

Harry Kane's 2 late goals against PSV, Eriksen's late winner vs Inter, Lucas' late equaliser at Camp Nou, Lloris' penalty save last week against City... What an incredible CL campaign of big moments and fine margins so far

Or the knee jerk babies could change the record? But no. Can’t have that. Tonight alone we had People saying Trippier should die, he’s aids this he’s aids that, he’s a ****, abuse left right and centre. And it’s me that should change the record? I don’t fucking think I will thank you very much.
Wait, hang on. I dont rate Tripps at all but that. That is too far. He’s shit but saying that is a bit far.

*I say that fully aware I was once banned for a few weeks for going too far about the ref when he sent off Paulinho in AVB’s last match against Liverpool. I’ve learned since then.

Anyway, cant well all just get along on a night like this without pulling people up on shit posted in the heat of the moment like we usually do here in this thread? Not just asking you, but everyone. Let’s hold off on that for the night. We just got through to the CL semi final in dramatic fashion. Let’s just enjoy it

I think they've changed the rules, or are going to change them, that they'll rule out a goal if your arm scores the goal. Doesn't matter if it was intentional or if you arms were by your side.

dunno, his hip scored the goal after it touched his arm. if the rule is the ball cant touch your arm at any point I dont know how it was a goal
