It’s really scary how bad Trippier plays at the Etihad.

Really scary.

Danny Rose hardly defending well either. System doesn’t help. They are so dangerous out wide and we need cover.

Although in fairness they are pretty special through the middle as well!

It’s not fair really :D.

I don't even know what to say. Trippier and Rose are both walking liabilities on either flank. I honestly think i'd put Toby out at RB and get Sanchez in next to Vert. Need some fucking stability

They have been atrocious with and without the ball. But defensively they didn't get no help initially which is why Poch has switched to a 4-4-2.

Personally to retain pace up front I would have brought KWP on for Sissoko and played him right midfield.

We would have been better sticking a CB back on and going with a back five. City are outnumbering our back four every time and getting into all the gaps in our zones.

Win or lose - the team has done us proud to put themselves in this position.

Given the lack of transfers and the number of injuries - we are punching well above our weight.

I feel our best chance to score again will be at the start of the half. lets see if we can get another quick couple

Really concerned Poch has ballsed it by putting Llorente on ahead of Sanchez. Not only is it weakening us defensively but it's actually ruined our press. Gundogan basically walked past Llorente.

I'd rather we played a flat 5 than giving so much space to the wingers.

Still. We are in it at HT which is something.

I just can’t believe that first half. Only Spurs could collapse like we have done tonight. Make no mistake, the team just haven’t turned up apart from Son.

Complete mentality thing.

Trippier never plays well at City away, there is no way we are keeping city from scoring just one more goal.

I have to salute Son though. World class.

It’s a shame we’ve fucked our selves by conceding such stupid goals. Only ourselves to blame and not good enough.

What a day for Rose and Trippier to go completely missing.

Don't think we will keep a clean sheet second half, we need to go out and score and try to keep scoring! Llorente on was a massive mistake from Poch (I hope I eat my words), we've lost our attacking intent now!

We're in the lead but it doesn't fucking feel like it.

Not sure the punt in the Llorente sub.

We have needed someone cutting the space between the fbs and cbs as that's where all their goals have come from.

Was an ideal time to do it when Moussa went off. The change has also hampered Son who is mostly defending now.
I think it might help in that it allows the defenders to just hoof it up under pressure and hope Llorente gets into something.

However, offensively we looked dangerous before Llorente and maybe messing with that isn't a super idea.

We’ve lost our best striker and 2 best CMs, we now have a CM that consists of a half fit player and an attacker with a broken wrist, a right back that can’t defend, a striker with the pace of a snail and a goal keeper that loves to make a mistake or two. Everything says we shouldn’t have a chance. Yet I still believe!! COYS!!

This has just been terrible naïve bollocks for the most part.

I just cant see what we have been trying to do defensively. There have been numerous games where we have played City with a diamond, and got torn apart. So of course Poch goes with it again. Yes we got two goals as a brucey bonus out of nowhere. We also conceded three and look shaky any time they get the ball and have given them a helping hand back into the tie. It wasn't until we conceded three that things changed.

Even now it's not great. Outnumbered in the centre of the park, little cover on the right flank. Not much better on the left. No real shape or discipline or plan to what we are doing.

Where was the preparation? Colour me shocked that City try to overload in wide areas and switch play and get one vs one. That De Bruyne comes into the half spaces and makes the extra man and needs to be picked up. Why haven't we had a nice 4-5-1 shape out of possession to match up and block channels? (we've belatedly started doing this after 40 minutes finally) It's not good enough I'm afraid.

Clinging on at the moment. Another injury doesn't help. Going to take a huge effort here.

So arrogant of us to leave 2 up front at the beginning of the game.

A bit of the protection for the full backs and we would have this game.
