We're in the lead but it doesn't fucking feel like it.

Not sure the punt in the Llorente sub.

We have needed someone cutting the space between the fbs and cbs as that's where all their goals have come from.

Was an ideal time to do it when Moussa went off. The change has also hampered Son who is mostly defending now.

Right we've conceded 3 but if anyone offered me 2 away goals at half time I'd have bitten your hand off.
Absolutely, we must not forget that.

A totally bizarre first 10 has just made the whole approach to the game completely mad.

Wish we calmed it down and played like this at 2-1 up.

We need to score again, although not sure Llorente was the right sub...

Starting the blame game early at a point where we're still qualifying.

Fuck I hate these threads.

We will still pose a threat on the counter and cause City problems but I have to say, what on fucking Earth were we working on in the lead up to this match?!

Some of the most shoddy off the ball work i've seen us under Poch and as far from tactically competent as you can get.

Attack is the best form of defence it seems for Poch but he has to, HAS TO bring another orthodox CM on because they are walking through us at will.

that third goal -- what on earth is on Trippier's mind that makes him decide to not mark Sterling? He actually makes the decision to leave him alone

If they score the next goal we're not coming back from it. Our midfield is compromised, we have a slow CF and they will go for the kill with momentum and their subs.

We have to score the next goal....or defend like our lives are on the line to make sure there is no next goal.

You’d think that Foyth would be alright at CM with his assets but it’s hard to throw someone straight into that for a first game.

We’re still leading. Believe.

We're defending a bit better but we can't keep the ball, such a pity Winks wasn't fit for this.

We need another goal though, definitely.

To be fair I didn't think we'd ever be 45 mins from a cl semifinal.

Just got to do something about the defense, they're killing us won't wide

Back 3 perhaps. Erisken getting zero ball so maybe he should just drop deeper in cm. Dele is so casual to his detriment

It’s really scary how bad Trippier plays at the Etihad.

Really scary.

But then he makes two of the most pinpoint tackles, in ridiculously dangerous places, like it's second nature. Hot/cold, Toby seems to be spending a lot more time out wide in the last fifteen minutes to keep Sterling out of the picture but hopefully half time will settle everyone down a bit.

Dele was looking scrappy, didn't seem to be at full pace and his passing was off, so I hope he glugs back the lucozade in the locker room and comes out on all cylinders.

We're spending a lot of time out wide and looking for balls into the box when our strengths are down the middle, with Son & Eriksen coming in as a pair, and with Dele playing with a few more yards run-up, maybe we need to start running at them again, seemed to put them on the back foot early in the game and Nando can play hold up for them to play off of.
