I think people need to calm down. This is football. And Liverpool have given most good teams a doing over this season. They just can't replicate it against the lesser teams. This isn't a knockout competition and would be only our third defeat of the season. PERSPECTIVE.

And Mane is freaking fast. Maybe it wouldn't be quite this bad if we had Rose.

It's one thing losing but we're getting battered and that shouldn't ever happen if we're to be a top team. We need to sort this out.

I don't understand why we haven't considered GKN as a LWB, yes. I know his defensive capabilities aren't amazing but with 3 CB's it would be less vital for him, and he could be devastating with his pace.
Look at Antonio at WHU and Moses at Chelsea, wingers turned wing backs, and have been some of the biggest players for their teams this season

He was actually pretty solid defensively in France.

Having said that the problem isn't Davies - it's the role Davies is being asked to play. We should've spent at least the first half sitting much deeper and doubling up on their wide men, whilst hitting them on the counter.

Instead we've played our usual high up the pitch pressing game where we expect our full backs to do the jobs of two men, against a team which is 100% set up to defeat that kind of team.

We should've adapted our tactics from the start.
