It wasn't as bad as being presented in that angle. An arm across to shield the opponent and protect the ball is standard play. Can't remember if that's the one he got a yellow for, but it shouldn't have been any more than that.

He bottled it basically, but in doing that he actually attempted something more difficult.

Fucking infuriating to be honest, because of the context of the game at this stage of the season, even though everyone would have taken a draw before the game.

I said he was a shitbag for doing that but I was incredibly angry at the time and shouldn’t have so I deleted it.

In my opinion he completely made the wrong decision in what he tried to do. He obviously tried to lay it on a plate like what happened with our goal tonight. Sometimes the unselfish pass makes everything easier. This was not one of those occasions though, the ball is right on the money, he is unmarked with a free header facing the goal and the majority of the goal to hit. He in turn picks probably the hardest thing to do. If he headers that down at goal we come away with 3 points tonight

I don’t know what salty means as I don’t use the term. Think most people that played at a reasonable level take that header at goal. I know I would have 100% it wouldn’t even have crossed my mind to put it back across the goal. So not everyone would be screaming to do that
