I've seen loads of fights at games between our own fansWhy?
I've seen loads of fights at games between our own fans
Normally due to drink and drugs
It's English culture to get smashed on booze and start a fight

Indeed and sadly I think it's also why we're targeted so often in Europe. I think the Spanish police for example target english fans when they're on a boozy night out. It doesn't matter to them that it's only the minority really who are abusive and causing trouble. To them we're all the same. It's not far off how black people have been treated by Police in America over the years. It's like they get targeted by association. It's embarrassing that's what it is.
I don't know if they will, but if we are asked for a minutes silence tonight with the breaking news of Reyes, I hope we show respect
I think it was the occasion and the whole Saturday night out vibe. Most people were bollocksed before they got in. It felt weird to me and I kind of wished I'd just watched at home.I have to agree with many that it turned into a major pissup and an evening of coked up bad tempered fuckwits throwing their aggression and egos around in some parts.
Smoking in their seats and the toilets stunk of piss and marijuana!
I saw plenty of men coming to their seats with 4 pints each then going back for more....some of these were draped over their seat before the end of the game....no wonder the place sold out of beer and couldn't get any plastic beer cups.
The queue for being searched was a joke....those who are meant to search were just tying the sticker around bags without really looking in them.
Others covered their bags with clothing and walked through.
It's a wonderful stadium, no doubt, but it's let down hugely by the people that are there to ensure that it is an enjoyable and safe experience.
The vast majority of those people must be agency staff, people who are given a job to do that they are Ill equiped and untrained in.
Complaints were all around me from season ticket holders who's cards were being rejected by the hand held machines that were scanning them, and then the machines packed up altogether.
In some cases it took 40 minutes to get served !!
So, allowing people, who were obviously already pissed, to take the drinks back to their seats was a huge mistake.
A couple of families took their kids away well before the game finished an up until it kicked off, trouble wise, the atmosphere was brilliant.

Still, I didn't see any bother and everyone seemed upbeat even after the final whistle.
A typical match day is definitely much better than this. Not being able to drink in the stands makes a massive difference.
I will never go to another screening again up and down like a yoyo people getting pissed
People falling in block 517 Getting drinks at HT was a no go people every where
kinda embarrassing grown men swearing constantly..Letting people bring beer to their seat shouldn't be allowed in future
There’s some absolute shite being spouted in this thread. Fucking hell.
The atmosphere inside and outside the stadium was incredible, it was a one off game where emotions were bound to run high.
Every fan base has a few dickheads but stop fucking moaning. Christ.
